Margaratas, Arcadas and Molino Rojo update.

I took some new friends around on a little mini tour of my favorite economy spots last night and thought I'd post what I saw.

It was a Tuesday night, so Margaritas was slow. Among the dancers last night were Jamie, Jessica, Ginger and a couple of new flacas that looked pretty good. It was pretty informal and I even was conned into salsa dancing with Ginger. We had fun.

Arcadas was reasonably busy, especially for a monday. Graciela is still there and so is Monica, who has now has dark hair. I also recognized Liz (the schoolmarm looking one) and Sylvia. Talent level has risen somewhat since my last visit a month or two ago.

Molino Rojo was also pretty good for a Tues. There are two Raquels there worth a spin, depending on whether you like statuesque and nasty or young and blondeish. One persistant beggar outside was the only minor annoyance. All in all, had fun and got a phone number from Raquel #2. (she's the younger, look alike sister of Fanny from the DR, but still thin and not a druggie)

I forgot to mention I also ran into Joana who used to dance at Margaritas working in the Molino Rojo. She's 7 months pregnant and drinking as usual. Hope the baby isn't born with fetal alcohol syndrome. I've seen it and it isn't pretty.

hey bilko glad to here some of my favorite places are still going strong. also glad to here raquel is still at rojo. enjoyed her company last trip. will be down for labor day weekend. will give u a shout so we can visit the clubs. joana is still working? and drinking. that is to bad agree hope baby ends up ok. shes a good girl just to much partying. talk at ya soon
