Suppose there were a location where you could get 20 to 30 minutes genuine hydrotherapy or whirlpool treatment followed by a 90 minute, top notch massage – TuiNa, Shiatsu, Hong Kong (walk on back) and/or Thai (stretch your body)... about 2 hours in total...

No extras... well, a great hand release (no extra charge) if it is legal (as I have argued on previous threads) now that the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that the test of indecency is actual harm...

How much would you be willing to spend?

Would you pay $150-175, taxes, tips, etc. included?

If not, how much?

How often would you use it?

What would you expect by way of service, location, ambiance, etc.?

Curious minds want to know...

Hello, Perry. I think $150 would be a fair price for such a service and I would probably visit six times a year. Nothing beats a great massage (a la Changs) and taking a whirlpool treatment before hand is an excellent way to maximize the massage in that it warms up the muscles considerably, meaning more flexibility.
Are you opening such a place in the near future?

$150 is not going to cut it with the girls in all reality.

For two hours as you described $250 would be a bargain and I'd likely go four or five times year depending on location and QUALITY of girls.

I think $150 would be a very reasonable price for the services you mention. I'm just not really into whirlpool treatments and so on, and an hour's worth of massage is good enough for me. Places like TCM charge approximately $50 for a 30 minute massage session, so what you mention for $150-$175 is definitely a better value.

As for how often I would use it, I guess somewhere in the range of 4 to 6 times per year. Service requirements are the same as usual ... friendly staff who don't screw up appointments, and hopefully all females within the mid twenties to thirties range. Also, location should be away from high-traffic areas with ample parking. As for ambiance, not too much in the way of brightness, but not low-key lighting either.

Do a search on Club Delux or club Dynasty in Markham. These are Asian saunas and massage spas. You pretty much get what you're looking for but at a cheaper price

I've been to Club Delux and it's pretty good.

You go in and up to the front desk of the lobby. On your right is a small gym (weights, treadmills, etc.) but nobody uses it. On your left is a lounge area for weighting in front. They give you a key and you go to the change room and get undressed. The attendant offers you a towel and some shower sandals. It's customary to shower in one of the many showers prior to the session. You then can go to the sauna or steambath or one of the dipping pools (one cold and one warm/hot). He then gives you some clean shorts and a robe with clean sandals. You go out to the waiting area with reclining couches facing two large screen TV's (one english sports and the other Chinese). They offer you a juice or pop while you wait.

Shortly thereafter a girl comes by asking you how long you want to stay (45 or 90) and which girl you want to see. You wait a little longer then they tell you that it's your turn. They escort you to the back and put you in a room with a large window but darkly lit. There's a phone in the room for the attendant to call in sayings she's beginning. You get a really good real massage. They offer backwalking as well. At the end she calls the front desk with your locker key number and tells them how much you want to pay (whatever you agreed upon that's fair). The basic pay is $25 annual membership which gets you $20 off regular priced sessions (good deal if you plan to go back). Massage is $58 + tip ($10 is customary minimum) for 45 minutes or $98 + tip ($20 is customary minimum because it's double) for 90 minutes at the $20 off rate. You go back out and relax or go home. When you return your key you pay at the front lobby (cash is preferred our you pay a little more though credit card).

This place is strictly legit and offers nothing you mention above. You are required to wear shorts they provide throughout the session, and the attendant may even cover the regions of your body with a cloth that aren't being massaged.

Thanks for the info, but you confuse me. You do mean the 90 minute rate, don't you?

I also understand that a hand release, when available, is from $40-60 on top, and "touching" is $20-40 on top of that? So the total comes out to somewhere between $160 and $220?

Can you confirm that?

Also, if the place were open from 10 a.m. to, say, 9 p.m. (last appointment) what would be your preference for time of your visits?

My bad. Yup, 90 minutes.

Not every girl you'd want extras from. The Full-body (release only) may be offered. It was for me at $50 tip (the $10 + $40). The 45 minute cost then is $58 (really $60 the extra $2 is to fund the "free" drinks) + $50 = $110. I don't know if it doubles for the 90 minute as I don't think thered be any takers at double the price. If that is the case, then its $98 ($100) + $50 = $150. Don't know about the touching extra. I just wanted a real massage in a relaxing atmosphere so I kept it basic (my attendant wasn't too hot anyway).

I went at night about 6:30 after work and it was close to dead. Shortly thereafter some guys came in but I don't think there was anymore than a dozen guys looking for a massage by the time I left at about 8PM (spent more time relaxing after the massage)

been to three asian spas in the markham area and that pretty well sums it up.

release not often available to non-asians... but by the third visit with the same attendant, it was much easier...i am told that asians have no problem!

$150 including release seems like a pretty good deal...

eye candy would make it even nicer.

These videos kinda sum up my wishlist. The jacuzzi at B&S w/ the right girl has come close on occasion, but it's been way too hit and miss since Chanel left. Ahh Chanel!. The jacked-up premium for uncertain product doesn't encourage me either.

But promise something like this and I'll be looking to list my first-born in the Buy and Sell.
