Prostitution: On Sept. 20, a 51-year-old Brighton resident was charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession (unlicensed massage therapy), at 2240 Monroe Ave. The investigation into Utopia 27 and its employees continues.
Attempted petit larceny/criminal mischief/suspicious incident: Between 10 p.m. Oct. 18 and 11 a.m. Oct. 19, one or more people rummaged through cars on Antlers Drive, Barclay Square Drive, Boniface Drive and Ashley Drive. In at least one case, the owner said the vehicle was locked. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Criminal mischief: On Oct. 24, a resident of Clintwood Drive said that over the past year, someone has been damaging her license plate by folding it in half.
Scam: At 10:55 a.m. Oct. 24, someone pretending to be from Rochester Gas and Electric Corp. phoned the school at 2035 Monroe Ave. and said that electricity was going to be turned off because of an overdue bill. The caller stated the bill would need to be paid by going to the store and buying a debit card. A school employee contacted RG&E and learned the school was current on the bill.

Grand larceny: On Oct. 3, someone entered an unlocked vehicle on Ridgemont Drive and stole $3,250 worth of tools.
Criminal mischief: On Oct. 4, someone struck a town-owned light pole on Amy Lane causing some damage.
Criminal possession of a forged instrument: On Oct. 3, someone spent a counterfeit $100 bill at a convenience store on West Ridge Road.
Petit larceny: On Oct. 4, someone smashed the driver's side window of a vehicle on Ridgeway Avenue and stole a pair of running shoes.
Grand larceny: On Oct. 5, someone stole an Apple MacBook Pro laptop that was delivered by UPS to a home on Affinity Lane. Officers said the suspect signed the victim's name incorrectly. The laptop was worth $2,266.92.
Grand larceny: On Oct. 6, a woman was arrested after she concealed $2,213 worth of merchandise at JCPenney at The Mall at Greece Ridge. She was accompanied by a 16-year-old. Both were taken into custody without incident.
Assault: On Oct. 6, two men were hit in the head with bottles during a fight at a bar on Center Place Drive.
Attempted grand larceny: On Oct. 8, someone tried to steal a boat on Affinity Lane. A boat trailer hitch was destroyed during the incident.
Criminal mischief: On Oct. 8, someone smashed the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked on Hampton Boulevard. The suspect left a sledgehammer behind.
Grand larceny: On Oct. 9, multiple apartments and various vehicles were burglarized at Greenleaf Meadows. One unlocked vehicle was entered and the suspect broke the turn signal arm. A 2014 Subaru Impreza was stolen after the suspect found the key in a neighboring unlocked vehicle. Officers said the suspect stole Korean War dog tags from another apartment. The suspect cut the Jeep canvas window and stole a MOLLE seat attachment organizer. The suspect stole a laptop and debit card from another unlocked vehicle.

Criminal mischief: On Oct. 20, a pair of unknown suspects used a baseball bat to damage a car parked on Falstaff Road. The front and back windows of the vehicle were smashed, the car body was dented and words were scratched into the paint.
Burglary: Sometime between Oct. 19 and 20, someone broke into a home on Barry Road and stole three firearms that had been left on the dining room table after the homeowner had returned from a hunting trip.
Petit larceny: On Oct. 24, a resident of Bennett Avenue reported that she had placed envelopes containing payment for two bills in her mailbox that morning and that later in the day she was contacted by her bank, which advised that an unknown male had attempted to cash one of them.

Petit larceny: On Oct. 13, someone driving a gray vehicle went to Saxby Implementation Corporation on Victor Mendon Road and stole a lawn mower and scrap metal.
PERINTON
Larceny: On Oct. 15, a Cedarwood Drive resident said he was moving from the street and five movers had access to the home. Three credit cards were stolen and more than $3,000 was charged at the Victor Walmart.
Burglary: Between Oct. 17 and 18, someone entered an unfinished house on Waterworks Lane and stole a heater, mixing drill, aluminum bench, yellow extension cord, and rollaway cart. The suspect presumably made entry through an unlocked window, because muddy footprints were found in the area.
RUSH
Burglary: On Sept. 19, someone entered a closed storage shed on East Henrietta Road and stole a string trimmer and vehicle parts. The same suspect stole brake drums from a recycling dumpster at a neighboring business during the same time frame. The suspect was arrested and the several stolen items were found inside his vehicle.
