Matress Pads

[The Mad Russian (????)]

I know we have discussed this in many posts, but I wanted to make sure and give some info that may be of help to someone.

I purchased my matress pads (which I place over egg crate on my table) from Sams.

Recently I saw them there again.

Serta 300 thread count Overfilled Matress Pad - Twin = $16.87.

They are excellent and last.

have you guys seen an egg crate pad that has really small, pointy things instead of big "dips"? does this make sense? i was on a table last week and of course i had to look at what was under the sheets and it looked weird but it was really comfortable. of course i forgot to ask where they got it from. have you seen anything like this???

Yes, I JUST saw this last Friday... I think it was at Wal-mart. They weren't very expensive either as I recall. It's a cross between memory foam and an egg crate... They cut into it an "egg crate" type texture... but as you pointed out the points of the egg crate are little mini-nodules. I wondered what it would be like to lay on... LOL So, was it really comfortable?

oh yes! it was very comfortable. enough so that i lifted the other layers to see what the heck was underneath! hahahahaha. i'll have to go to walmart tomorrow and check it out. i have a regular egg crate on my table now but i'd switch in a heart beat if i found this other thing. thanks a million maestra!

I saw this the other day at Target, wondered if was comfortable. It was not much money either, about the price of typical egg crate foam pad. If it is the same one as you are talking about, tiny small dips, then I am getting one. I need one anyways.

Yep! I have (from the table --> up): an egg crate, then a fitted sheet, then the mattress pad, then a table warmer on my table. Makes it cushy and warm. PLUS, the egg crate gives you about 2" more in width for the table (in a softer form) which helps when you have large clients, but doesn't hinder in giving massage - since it is soft and pliable!

Wal-mart and Academy usually have egg-crate. Sometimes you can also find it at BigLots. Probably Sears too, but I am not sure about that. I would think so though. (Big plug for Sears and their continued involvement with the Extreme Home Make-Over show! -- Good work for needy people!)

I just bought two of those memory foam table toppers (and mattress covers too - thanks T-gal). They are actually just right. Love em!
