Moms, how can you answer a question and it not be considered a chat?

I answered a question on here earlier and i was told it was a violation and a chat...i dont understand it...i just gave an answer ---makes no sense. Anyone that asks a question and another person answers---thats a mini chat right. Any answer is a bit of a chat especially if it has good detail so how is this a violation..i just dont get it and im sure this question is a violation too who knows.

BQ: How many kids do you have?
there is a question.

And the question earlier was a mom asking for advice on health.
I said not to overthink it because overthinking causes stress and isnt good for you.

To me..that was an answer not a chat. And there is no way to get answers here unless you ask, im just asking to see what i did wrong..and it is phrased in a question format. Thanks

How do you know if you are reported? Does yahoo send a notification to you? Also, what does BQ mean? haha...maybe I should just ask my own quesion huh?

I think it's considered a chat if you respond to the other answers rather than to the original question. But sometimes it can be pretty hard to make a distinction.

If there is no question, you just want to say something, then it's CHAT not a question. Sticking a BQ on the end does not make it a question.
