Here is my vote. But it is strictly non hanky panky massage.

I've tried the Givenchi spa, and it's indeed luxurious, but I prefer the "Zen" environment of the O'Furo in the Laurentians (Morin Heights). Sauna, steam bath and therapeutic massages in a relaxing mountain river site...at half the price.

The best spa is definately the polar bear club. A close second is the scandinave. and third should be ofuro. The only problem with the polar bear club is that it has become so popular that it can be crowded at times which takes away from the relaxing enviroment.

I've also tried these 3 places. All are nice but I would definitely classified them in reverse order.

The Polar Bear has nice installations but it's way too crowdy and is becoming a "crusing" spa more than anything. The Scandinave has a very nice site and great installations. It's perfect daytime during the week, but avoid it at the end of the day or during the weekend when the irrespectful tourist mob of Tremblant takes over the place.

On a pure and simple "relaxation" scale, the O'Furo wins hands down for its calm and respectful atmosphre. The number of guess is limited and the "keep it quiet " rules are enforced contrary to the 2 others places.

I have been to The Scandinave before and it as been a truly relaxing experience. It can be crowdie at some point but still, it remains quiet so the relaxing environment is respected. The massage was also very good, deep but not too strong and the young girl, early 20’s that worked me up was stunning. To bad there were no extras available at that place….

Now I’m planning some ski vacation at le Massif and would like to go to that same type of spa in the Québec city area. Any place you would recommend?

The best place I know in the Le Massif area is La Maison Otis in Baie St-Paul. You can stay there (nice rooms, a bit pricey, but well decorated and comfortable). The spa facility is not big but everything is there. Great therapeutic services.
