Over the past 2 yrs or so one-by-one the Surrey area MPs have been closed down.
Serenity, Lotus, Red Chamber, Expert, Alley Cats, recently Shanghai and probably more I have never heard of.
For the most part other municipalities such as Rich, Burnaby, Van as examples, seem to live and let live.
For an area that was previously plagued with the issues of street walkers, why would Surrey seek to close down the quiet out-of-the-way alternatives.
Does anyone have insightful ideas on this ? Perhaps with LE, Legal,or By-law experience ?
What will closure accomplish ?
Some here have claimed it stems from the mayor's office but I am not so sure. If this is politically motivated there is usually a public statement to take credit for it.
I can understand that by-laws are by-laws and some enforcement may be warranted. But eradication ?
Anyone with comments ?
