MPA Licensing Approval

My gf would like to acquire a MPA License in MIssissauga for a job opening at a Mississauga MP. She has to obtain a record search to submit to the city. She presently has a charge of "being an inmate in a bawdy house" against her but she is still fighting it in the courts. Seeing as she is "innocent until proven guilty", does anyone out there know if this will affect her ability to acquire the license? Should she wait until she is found not guilty?

Any info would be appreciated.

The first step is to have a record search done.
The charge may not appear on the record search if the case has not been settled. In that case she can go ahead with the liscence.
However. If any offence of any nature that has not been pardoned appears on her record, she will be asked to make an appointment with the licsencing office where she will speak to someone in charge. He or she will speak with her in private and go over her charges. They will at that time decide if they will grant her a liscence.

I had contacted Mississauga licensing prior to posting this thread. Here's the manager's reply: "The search should be done by Peel Regional Police. I will not comment on the other item as I only discuss items on a Search when I see the original Search"

There is actually a record for "domestic assault". I don't see them declining the license based on this.
