newbie to perms! need help!?

I just got a perm for the first time a couple days ago. It's not a straight perm, it's a wavy/curly perm because I was tired of my straight asian hair haha. But I read that you shouldn't wash your hair everyday, especially when you have a perm. I usually run/work out everyday, so it'd be pretty gross if I didn't wash it everyday.

Would it be bad in that case to wash my hair daily? I use conditioner.
 
u shouldnt wash it for up 1-2wks after you get it after that you can go back to your regular schedule
