A registered nurse is set to introduce ‘calming’ baby yoga and massage classes to parents and grandparents in Pembrokeshire.
Rhian Chumroo runs Rubba-Bubba with Rhi, a franchise dedicated to helping mothers with post-natal depression and helping babies develop their motor skills.
She currently runs two classes in St Clears yet will offer four more classes across Haverfordwest and Pembroke from mid-February.

The UK is a bit late to the party when it comes to baby yoga. It’s calming and leads to a release of oxytocin, helping people feeling connected and safe.
“My love for baby massage started on the other side of the mat - as a mum attending classes with my youngest, Ayda.
“Those early months were so special, and I found baby massage to be a wonderful way to bond with her. It became my little sanctuary during the whirlwind of new motherhood.”

Each session is one hour long, consisting of 30 minutes of massage and yoga followed by 30 minutes of social time.
Baby massage has been around for hundreds of years and helps to strengthen the bond between parent and child while supporting the baby’s physical development.
Rhian continued: “Stage one is very nurturing and about building that bond. Stage two is more interactive with nursery rhymes while using positive touch and sensory exploration.
“Parents can chat with others on the same journey, enjoy a hot cuppa, and share experiences. For many, it's not just a class - it's a lifeline.
“But Rubba-Bubba isn't just about baby massage and yoga - it's about finding your village. Every class is baby-led, so we take things at your little one's pace. Babies cry, and that's okay - it's how they communicate. We're here to support you, not judge.”

Despite starting her own venture, Rhian plans to continue working as a registered nurse and health visitor for the NHS while running baby yoga classes.
Rhian is a married mother of three with over 20 years of clinical experience.
Her goal is to empower parents with the tools to nurture their babies while providing the support they need on their journey.
“I absolutely love what I do. The balance between running Rubba-Bubba with Rhi and my work as a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor for the NHS is so fulfilling.
“Nurturing parents is at the heart of everything I do, because when parents feel supported, they can pay it forward and nurture their babies.”
