Hi Zoe
There are several things to suggest and I guess you find more people have more but from me the first things that spring to mind is firstly when did it start and does your client have any knowledge as to why it happened?
Then you can use the appropriate reflex treatment for her back.
As far as other suggestions....Accupuncture is also another good therapy as is something called hydrotherme therapy....this is a form of massage and manipulation but in a gently way. The person who invented it is based in Thame, Oxfordshire.
The other things to use are aromatherapy oils for anti-inflamatory uses if needed but I also use a heat cream from a company called Melaleuca. Its a natural form of deep heat and it does not have that terrible burning sensation. My daughter has used it as she fell on an iron rod when she was young on her cockis and ever since had back pain, which also effects her periods too...very painful and then when she had her first child that was very painful too. When she used this cream for the first time she got a good night sleep for the first time ever so now she is never without it in the house. Please let me know if you want to find out more and I can send you some info via email.....my email is naturesessentialsuk@yahoo.co.uk so please contact me directly
Until I know more about how this back pain started its difficult to locate the best form of treatment for your client.
Hope this helps
