A police raid on a spa centre in Gwalior revealed an illicit prostitution ring operating under the guise of legitimate business. Authorities apprehended six women and two male patrons during the operation at ‘The Healing Hand Massage Therapy’.
In addition to this discovery, objectionable materials were also found at the massage parlour. The women apprehended are from Gwalior, Delhi, Mathura, and Agra. According to reports, customers were initially charged, after which transactions were conducted online. Police suspect human trafficking may be involved. Currently, all those arrested are being questioned.
Acting on information from an informer, Gwalior Police uncovered a prostitution ring operating under the guise of ‘The Healing Hand Massage Therapy’, a spa centre in the Patel Nagar area. The police team immediately mobilised to take action.
Following the tip-off, the Superintendent of Police (SP) assembled a team led by Crime Branch Assistant Superintendent of Police, Krishna Lalchandani, to investigate a massage parlour. Police constables, posing as customers, entered the establishment and initiated a transaction. Upon receiving a pre-arranged signal, the police team raided the parlour. Inside, they found six women, two customers, the parlour operator, and the manager. All individuals present were subsequently arrested.
During the raid on the parlour, police found numerous objectionable items, including an account diary, cash, and a mobile phone. The girls involved are not only from Gwalior but also from Delhi, Mathura, and Bengal. The accused allegedly began by taking cash from customers under the pretence of a massage before introducing them to the girls. It is believed that the investigation may expose a larger network and lead to further significant revelations.
