Recantly Carly asked how tall is to tall. I have a Revieweind who works at a super market up here. And a lady came up to the counter where she was working and wanted to make a compliant about a girl who worked there. Not because she provided bad service. Because she was 6ft2. The lady in questrion was of the opinion that. According to her Jesus was a short person and there fore no one had any business growing taller than him. Of course the question has to be asked, how does she know if Jesus was a short bloke or not. Well now Carly can finaly know the answer to the question how tall is to tall. Anybody taller than Jesus.

Why Jesus would have been short

Colin, I'm beginning to feel like Cliff Clayvan to your Norm.

The average height of human beings back in those days was a lot shorter than it is today. Partly nutrition, partly changes to the genetic makeup over the last two millennia.

This came up on - swear to god (lol) - a discussion thread elsewhere on the movie 'Gladiator'. Someone was complaining that the horses shouldn't have been as big as they were in the movie - i.e. today;s regular size - since it has been selective breeding that has resulted in the current crop of equines that we have today (this was confirmed for me by my very horsey sister in law).

Others retorted that PEOPLE were shorter and smaller in those days as well, so the movie was actually accurate, as the human-to-horse size ratio was more or less the same!

Still doesn't explain that weirdo you saw in the shop - "She's tall! Let's sacrifice her to our goddddddssss!" (jeez, poor Maria and Tanya, huh?)
