Spa Central, 1111 Kennedy Place, Suite 6, in Davis, has been named Best Spa, Best Facial and Best Massage in the annual Reader’s Choice survey.
“We would like to thank all of our very loyal clientele for their continued support of our business and many of the other local businesses in our community,” said owner-operator Kelli Fuller.
Since opening in 2005, Spa Central has continued to grow throughout the years.
“We appreciate the loyalty from those in our community who keep our schedule busy,” Fuller said. “This allows us to continue to do what we are passionate about.”
Making the decision to move locations was the biggest change in the business so far, but it’s been a good one.
The company moved from downtown in August of 2016 to its new location near Covell Boulevard.
“It’s quiet, single-story and has free parking for our clients coming in to have a service,” Fuller noted.
But through the change, the business focus has remained the same.
“We offer exceptional spa treatments in a relaxing and quiet environment,” Fuller said. “Our professional estheticians and therapists offer skin care and massage that is personalized and thorough … treatments are always catered to each individual.”
Fuller said the intensive facial treatments are designed to enhance a long-term skin-care program.
“Your esthetician will determine the type of facial and products that are specific to your individual skin needs,” she said. “We offer six massage styles to relax muscles, release tension, reduce pain, reinvigorate and promote health and well-being.”
She says clients will walk away feeling renewed and refreshed.
“The staff is always continuing education so that we can provide the best service to our clients,” Fuller said.
Clients are sometimes surprised to learn that Spa Central offers online booking.
For the coming year, the business hopes to add to the many gift items found in the spa’s retail area.
Having been named Best of Yolo in several categories for many years, Spa Central hopes to continue its success for many more years to come.
