I know that I'm preaching to the choir but I recently had a conversation with one of my favorite mpa's.The name is irrelevant but she made reference to these guy's booking appointments and then not show up.What's up with that?I know that I like to fly solo and not make appointments because I really am on a short leash and don't have much time.But every time I go to my favorite place it's a crap shoot unless I make that appointment.Again I know that all of you regulars would never do it but please if your not going to go through with your intention give a guy like me a chance.
I had one of the best times I've ever had a HFH last Friday.I stepped out of my norm and made an appointment with Christine for 6:15pm.Well to my surprise she was running behind schedule so I made a request.The request was I would like another allstar selection.My choices were Tarah or Cameron So with choices like that you start to laugh out loud.Anyway to tie this long winded idea of mine up, because of a no show I was able to live out a fantasy.At this point I should thank who ever didn't show up.Well I guess I said all that to say be courtious and let these women make there money.

If they are requested to phone and confirm anyway , how about an on-line booking system ? Too expensive to set up I guess . One of the problems is seeing a schedule but when you phone everything is booked already . If you could see ( for example ) that Cameron or Alexis had 3 to 4 pm open on Thursday when you clicked on her it would make life a lot easier .
I guess if they are 100% booked then there is no real incentive for setting this up .

Paul, I belonged to a squash club where people would book well haead and then not show up, meaning courts would be empty when others would have liked to play. The problem was greatly reduced by establishing a rule which said that nobody could book more than 3 days ahead, that is you cannot book a Saturday appointment before the prior Wednesday morning. You might try something on those lines. It didn't completely solve the problem for us, and won't for you, but it certainly happens a lot less often now.

I think bookings should be same day or next day only. That should solve alot of problems.

thanks for the insight...I never even thought about competitive bookings b4...that's pretty pathetic...

I have however always called if I wasn't coming in...some mps in the west are hard to keep appointments with...I usually call for my appointment for the same day...

I've tried to book ahead for an appointment but always change my mind...I guess the guilt or thought of what else I could do with the money comes up...

If you book an appointment and you can't make it, then you should cancel it.

For example, when Kayla updates the HFH schedule for 3 weeks in advance, even if I call within the hour of it hitting their website, Cameron is usually booked for 2-3 appointments on virtually all of the days she is listed.

It sounds funny, but I find myself behaving just like a customer at the Soup Nazi's restaurant (Seinfeld reference)... "I would like to see Cameron for one hour on February 15th at 1 PM please"... "yes, I will call exactly one hour in advance to confirm"...."thank you very much".

I travel enough that for the best of the best, I will occasionally plan my work trip around the HFH schedule. THAT my friends is the only testimonial a spa should need!

So does this mean if someone you know calls to book an appt still has to call to confirm? Even if they have never "forgotten" to call and say they're running late or have to cancel?


Perhaps membership does have its perks.....

Im sure alot of your remember Jordan going solo. He came out with the smash hit "give it to you" 5 years ago. It was a beautiful song about how Jordan wanted to have sex with an attractive asian girl who worked at the carnival.

Sadly all of Jordan's fans grew up and also grew tired of his boy band ways.

Jordan was my fave member of NKOTB, and I always thought he would be fun to go drinking with.

All the more reason to call ahead. Paul's right about him not always being there. Usually when I call ahead he's had to step out for an hour or so, by the time I get there. He's a busy man. You wouldn't believe the amount of times the mpa I had booked have suddenly fallen ill and had to go home. So, it's certainly a good idea to call ahead in the best interest of all concerned ...
Just coz the sun rises everyday, it doesn't mean it will rise tomorrow ...

Rusty, I am retired, but I was asking if the girls know the guy well enough, not just Paul. And trust that client not to break appointments, then there would be no need for an extra call....

I only made an appointment 3 days in advance once and that was so I could get Vanessa and Alexis together in a duo session that I am still dreaming about. Most appointments are made like 1 or 2 hours before I pop in. I remember once I had to cancel an appt to see Angela twice in a row because of a work meeting running late. Boy, did I ever hear it from her....ya know "Thanks so much for calling to cancel, it was nice of you to let me know that you couldnt make it", followed by a big hug and a wet kiss to the cheek

Now I'm looking at Saturday's all star line up and I have a stag to go to...hmmm wonder if I can convince the group to make a trip up to IT.
