Two women were arrested Friday at a massage parlor in Burlington, Kentucky, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
Zhiming Bowser, 54, and Maohua Li, 60, were charged with promoting prostitution, the sheriff's office said in a release.
The sheriff's office, FBI and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement executed a search warrant at LuLu Massage, at 2606 Burlington Pike, after an anonymous complaint was received by authorities.
After "validating the complaint," the sheriff's office said, the search warrant was executed and Bowser and Li were arrested.
Lt. Philip Ridgell with the sheriff's office said by email that authorities are investigating whether or not the case involved sex trafficking.
The business has closed, Ridgell said, as there is no one there to operate it.
"(Bowser and Li) were operating the business today," he wrote. "Beyond that we are still investigating."
