There is this boy I like, but don't know very well. He seems nice, and he's really cute. I barely have any chance to talk to him since he's two grades above me. The catch is that he's best friends with a guy who I really dislike, and who I'm a little afraid of because he's intimidating.

Is it worth it? I'm a little shy, but I'd really like to get to know him better.
I have talked to him before, for the record. Once when I was reluctantly hanging around his best friend, and the second time he talked to me :)
