I actually dropped by there last night with my firend who spoke Cantonese. The new ma-ma san told him that they do not serve white customers. I was absolutely shocked, and needless to say regardless of how incredible any of the MPA's are there I will never return.

I find this no white guys rule hard to believe. Most of the time when I am in the area, I notice that it is white guys who checking the MPs out. If a spa were to cut out maybe 80% of the areas cliental, and considering the high level of competition, how long would they expect to survive in business.

Think there may be other reasons why you were told, no white clients.

Asians don't like african-americans very much at all. I know a lady who grades US cities by the % of blacks. God got revenge on her by putting black businesses on either side of hers.

I'm asian, and I don't have problems with people from any ethnic background. I'm sure we all have our own little comments about racial issues.

All I can say is that I have experienced it myself, and I don't like it and hence I vow to never do it to someone else.

Why can't we just all get along=)

You know what, I suppose when I first came to Canada I would kinda consider myself a "FOB", and yes, I suppose I am more or less "whitewashed" now=)

That being said, I have friends whom I would consider as "FOBS"...and yes I know being chinese that a lot of our thinking is pretty ignorant...I just find it really stupid way back when I use to go into a restaurant or something that I'll get looks because I wasn't white, and now I go to the mall with a white female friends and I still get dirty looks...you just can't win...

Haven't we learn already that it doesn't matter what our gender/enthnic backgroud/religious beliefs are...we all human beings created equal...

sigh....I guess going back to the original post...I'll be ticked if say I walk into IT/HFH and they say sorry, we don't serve no Asians...and if I go with a friend to Silver Spings and they go sorry no whites...I think once they're done renovating, we should confirm whether this is true with Silve Spings and take it from there...while I'm sure there're enough business from Asians to keep the place afloat...it certainly won't be good business to alienate massageplanet.net members.

I was there on 9-14 and was told that they were closing the next day and Tammy would be moving to a new location. Was told that they did not know the new location yet and it would be at least a few weeks before they reopened... so I have not been around since.
Re this new management at the Silver Spings Spa, are the same girls still there, Jessica - Grace?

They are afraid that someone might be an UC Cop.
Sinse there are a very small amout of asian UC Cops.

I recently posted my experience with Jessica of 338. But having read this thread I must also indicate that I have seen Jessica when she works Silver Springs as well. I'm neither Oriental or White. Tammy does not know me very well, nor does this new owner. I let my money do the talking. The only time I have been denied services was right at the door, when they think you're a cop and don't let you in to begin with. This has happened on occasion at my regular MP's even when new girls are working and don't know who I am. . .As soon as these FOB's figure out I'm a paying customer they compete for my business.

In general: MPA's don't like poor hygiene

In General: MPA's just want your money.
