Spinal noises? - cracks, crunches, squeaks, grates,

Does anyone have a noisey spine? Mine can be heard by others lol.

Especially when I sit down and it compresses.

I often wonder if it is good or bad, but sometimes it feels like relief others it hurts so I guess it all depends, but do others have this, and if so any ideas on why and when?

Yep my back sounds like it is popping and my hubby does sometimes hear it. It feels awful sometimes and I feel the sensation going right up to the top of my back. I also get a crunching sensation when I turn over in bed sometimes, but this has only been since my fusion so I wonder if it is anything to do with metal work!

Re our other messages I refused to go to group pain clinic as I can only sit for ten minutes and then need to lay down which wasn't possible in a group environment. Initially they were a bit funny and said this was the whole point to learn how to deal with pain, but when I enlightened them to how disabled I am and that two hours sitting/standing would put me in bed for approx three days on high dose morphine they relented to single appts.

I understand and I ended up lying on the floor for the second appt lol. they thought I had fainted heehee.

I was told if I didn't go they would discharge me! They ended up discharging me anyway.
