my lil rant....

i made an appointment saturday evening, i was showed to my room 30mins after my scheduled time. i also had to wait for the girl i made an appointment with. i ended up waiting for almost an hour(no exaggeration) in total after my scheduled time. i'm not sure as to what happened, i don't know if the receptionist(she was new...well to me anyways. older brunette i'd say about mid 30's) knew what she was doing. she seemed very unorganized.

i was about to get dressed again and walk out, but then the lady of my choice finally walked in, she apologized and explained to me that the receptionist never told her that she had a client.

i can understand that things can get a bit hectic. i don't have a problem with having to wait..but waiting for an hour seems very extreme and unacceptable. out of the many times that i have been to SRM, never have i had to wait that long.

If not, why not? It's unforunate that you had to go thru that, but we're not the ones who can do anything for you.

I so agree. I would be gone, options or no options.

I say that if your attendant isn't available within 15 minutes of the agreed upon time (even if you are in the room), the policy should be you get the door fee waived with the Spas apologies. You can use the free door fee with another attendant who is available, use it on the attendant you booked (should you choose to wait longer) or use it at another time.

Another policy should also be, if the receptionist is Felicia and I am the client then she becomes my MPA. The session time also changes from 40 minutes to indefinite.

That is unacceptable, did they offer a discount? I've waited 15-20 min longer than the appointed time but that's it. Good thing Lynn was definitely worth the wait

Sorry to hear your experience with SRM was so bad buddy! I had the same experience with Christina a couple of weeks back because she was totally running behind schedule. Was it her?

I hope that this isn't a sign of things to come and that their service isn't slipping. I've had a very high opinion of this place and the lovely Joy from Day One!!! Was Joy in?

You should let Dr. Joy or Anita, the owner know about this. May be Dr. Joy is on vacation. Sometimes when she is on vacation, things don;t run as smoothly as they usually are.

Joy wasn't in...i dont want to blame the attendant because i've never had a problem when i go to SRM...the receptionist seemed very 'lost' in general. it wasn't very busy either, i was the only one waiting in the waiting area...

I stopped by on Saturday evening as well. I discovered that Joy is not well and is currently in hospital, which may explain the lapses in service. She usually stays on top of things (no pun intended).

I think that it is more likely that attendant you chose had another commitment (client) that she didn't want to disappoint. Hopefully you will hear something from Anita (Micron) and she will make up for things.

I've always found SRM, Joy and Anita to be the best example of HOW to run an MP. Unfortunately in the MP world you really do have to "micro-manage" every little detail if things are going to run smoothly.

So you had one bad experience at SRM compared to how many good ones. What's the big deal. no real need to go public with your compalaint And I doubt this is a sign that service is slipping at SRM. Give them a break, are you always on the ball at work?

Because he had an appointment and paid for a service.

If your meal shows up cold, undercooked and with the wrong side dish, do you just ignore it and eat anyway, leaving a 20% tip, because as you would say, "Fuck it, I screw up at work all the time too"?

The guy had a poor experience at one of the top MPs in the area, and vented. He should at the very least get the room fee refunded. If the MPA was at fault, then at least an apology + room fee for the next visit might be nice. I would never look for a discount though from the girls... that would just be wrong.

I'd suggest sending a PM to MICRON...(she's Anita, the lovely owner of SRM)

You don't have to say who the MPA is publicly, but I'd suggest doing so in your PM. Some MPA's are notorious for starting late, and if this is a pattern Anita can have a word to spare the next client your pain.

Even if the problem is unusual/bad luck/ "one off", I'm sure SRM will fix it for you
