Has anyone been to see Sterling Rose? I saw her Leolist ad so I texted her, politely introducing myself. She directed me to her website for her screening. I do not have CAF or someone able to give me a referral, and there was no chance I was texting her a picture of my drivers license lmao, so I politely apologized that I couldn't meet her requirements and I thanked her for her time. She then proceeded to send me a message telling me to go fuck myself.

What is her fucking problem? Did she use an acorn for a tampon or what?

Sometimes just not responding is better since you can get nasty messages like these from out of nowhere from providers with an attitude problem. Frankly very disappointed that providers like her feel like she can treat people like garbage simply because they don't do everything they want and pony up their hard earned money.

I know you will disagree because people on here seem to think it is a one way street when it comes to privacy and security but if you are honest, it is hard to disagree with her point.
She has her restrictions and if you cannot meet them, find a lady who does. If you want the benefits of CAF, don't keep getting banned from there.

I agree with you, if you can't meet screening requirements then find another lady. Which is exactly what I did, if you read the messages. I didn't ask her to lower her requirements or make a special exception. I just thanked her for her time and was prepared to move on with my life. You can't argue that her response was anything in the realm of appropriate.

I would have responded the same way to her, I don't have a CAF ID, I only casually engage in this hobby, so no provider to really vouch for me, and I would be hesitant to provide my drivers as well ... and I would politely let her know .. her response was uncalled for ... I had been curious, and not that she is going to lose any sleep about it, I am not interested now

The notion that only honest people are willing to go through a provider's screening process, no matter how invasive, is quite problematic since you can draw some not so nice conclusions from it.

First one being that if you don't screen, you're not an honest person, which I don't exactly agree with. I'd consider myself a pretty honest person, and I am willing to screen to some degree depending on how invasive that screening procedure is. I personally draw the line at sending a picture of my identification: does that make me a dishonest person?

Second one being, what are we saying about providers who don't do any screening or don't screen to the maximum degree? Are we saying that they don't care about themselves and that they deserve what anything bad that happens to them because they didn't screen to the max? What about those spas/massage parlors that you can walk into without any screening? Do they not care about the providers they employ there as well? Are their clients dishonest people too because they go to these places partly because there isn't any screening?

I'm not trying to be an ass here, but I am trying to point out why even honest people like myself would find it hard to agree with her point.

I have nothing against screening since I understand why some provider's are more comfortable with doing it than not. That's a decision they have made and that's a decision I will respect by not seeing them if I'm not comfortable with their degree of screening. What I take issue with is the notion that people who aren't willing to screen to the degree that a provider is asking for automatically, being considered dishonest, dangerous, etc and getting shamed for it. Honestly, this kind of behavior is for someone who I wouldn't trust to have my personal information.
