What's up with Tender Touch?
This might be a question and a review in the same thread, but.....

I was on my way back from CB last night and after my (very enjoyable) dances, thought I'd stop at an MP. Stopped at BackFitness and promptly left (MP on Bramalea Road).

Saw the 'massage' sign just of Derry (first street on north side of Derry, just west of Tomken, sorry don't know the name). Stopped and still had just a glow left from CB so wanted to rekindle the flame. Door to the establishment was locked. A young guy came to the door and said everyone was busy, maybe a 20 minute wait. So I got in the car and just left. Don't have time for this crap.


Now, ONE, I know you guys are going there, 'cause I went there two weeks ago and all the girls were busy. This time there was no other guy, just me. The girl locked the door and asked if I would just tell anyone that came that they would be free in a few minutes and to not let them in. Let one guy in anyway, but he only stayed a few minutes as the girls were not immediately available. After my session (see below) I was leaving and again the door got locked as all girls were busy and some other poor schmuck showed up and tried the door. I advised him he could wait and they would be available, but he looked kind of lost and just left.


And TWO, "What is up with this place?". I came here twice in 2001 and at that time the cost was $90.00 for NR, less for other options. Always got the NR, always got the full 30 minutes. No problems. Not the greatest place in the world, but Mr. Happy was relieved, so what the hell. BUT NOW, it's $45.00 for the room (I gave $50.00, "the girl will give you the change". Yeah, right, another $5.00 bucks gone).

Once in the room I asked for NR and she said was $80.00, she had a killer butt and fantastic legs, cute curly blonde hair, small breasts (A's), tight stomach, cute face, and was probably all of 21 years old (she was really cute, those legs are dynamite). Had a not-bad session, but NO WAY was it 30 minutes. 20 tops. Unless you count my shower (which I don't), which would put it at 25 minutes, unless you count getting dressed (which I don't), which would put it at approx. 30 minutes. I left relatively satisfied but the time limit bothered me.

So WHY do we put up with this crap? Price goes up, mediocre spa, time spent servicing the client is reduced. Number of girls goes down from 5 or 6 to 3 (didn't see any more). Last visit I put out $130.00 (shame on me, my stupidity, thinking with lower brain) when I should have gone south to 2 Mtns or some place where get better service for same (or less) coin.

You are obviously frustrated - its a real drag when you get ripped.

Anyway, to answer your question - why do we put up with it ? Well, in my opinion, its the constant search for the hidden gem. Go once, and in this case, don't repeat.

How do places like that stay in business ? The one shot, never repeat customers are what they survive on. Late night customers who aren't too picky.

Just my 2 cents.

Here is an interesting tidbit - the famous Michelle, of playpen2000 fame, who worked at many places including Rose's, T&T, somewhere in Hamilton and most recently Josephine's, used to work there many years ago. The first time I ever met her was there. Same great service as today, hence the lure of the hidden gem !

Blade (great handle by the way). Yeah, I am just ticked because I was stupid enough to go here. But it was late at night, had couple good sessions in 2001, so thought "what the heck".

I guess the thing that bothers me is that (as with everything else) the price goes up and the quantity or quality goes down.

I agree with Crash. You used to be able to go to your favorite MP and see a familiar face and know you were going to get your moneys worth and of course you knew exactly how much you would need.
Now you walk in and the attendents have totally changed and the cost of the old standby service has become a major bank withdrawl.
