The Jehova's just stopped by for a chat?

The Jehovah's witnesses came by and gave me a pamphlet that's called "ATHEISTS ON A CRUSADE!" .. I told her I was an atheist, so she asked me to explain my reasoning. I told her I have no proof in God, I can't hear, smell, taste, see or feel God. She asked me "Can you hear, smell, taste, see or feel gravity?" I say... "Yes I can feel and see gravity, I'm standing on the earth right now.. SEE?" bahaha I was nice to them though, and I told them to come back if they want to debate more.

But I would like to share a piece of this pamphlet with you guys, it says

"A NEW group of atheists has arisen in society. Called the new atheists, they are not content to keep their views to themselves. Rather, they are on a crusade, actively, angrily, passionately trying to persuade the religious to their point of view. These new atheists allow no room for doubt. To them, there simply is no God"

What you guys think of this? lol
The entire pamphlet is nothing but a religious rant.
They were very nice people though, that's why I was semi-tolerant of their intrusion. The one was like "awwww your dog is cute" I said "he's blind with one eye and he cant see, that dog is NOT cute"

The quote from this pamphlet sounds pretty accurate from what I see here. If you guys weren't on a crusade to attack the religious wouldn't you be content to just let them believe? Sure are a lot of outspoken atheists on religion and spirituality. Strange since you don't have either. Oh, and by the way you can't "see" gravity. You can see it's affects. bahaha.

The "new atheist" sound exactly like the JWs who have been angrily crusading, passionately try to convert others and believing that their opinion and their's alone is the correct point of view...so is the "pot calling the kettle black" or what?

First, we're "Jehovah's Witnesses", not "Jehova's". And "The Jehova's just stopped by for a chat?" isn't even an actual question.

What you were given is not a pamphlet, it's a magazine.

There's no rant in the magazine at all......unlike what you're doing here with this "question".

"...angrily..."? What a laugh! I was once a JW and it pains me to be reminded of how I used to succumb to their literature full of loaded language. The sad thing is that when a JW reads that sentence, they will all 100% unquestioningly believe that all atheists are angry. Simply tragic...

Atheists never have doubted that there is no god. There is nothing new about this. They seem to have a problem with atheists simply not crawling under a rock and hiding their views. It's becoming socially acceptable to admit to being a nonbeliever; that's what they're afraid of.

What was their point? What did they want to do about the new atheists? Kill them? Stuff them back in the closet?
