You got the right one on top of your list particuarly Thursday to Saturday. Las Margaritas is my all time favorite club in San Jose. If you have never been to Molino Rojo after 2 AM worth a visit late night as that is prime time there.Next 4 are worth a visit and the last two no big deal if you never get there.rbc100

Bar Dorado is in that class, with a show on Friday nights and not much talent otherwise. It's on the map as Club 40, next to the dungeon (which is also worth a visit, but it's a day place)

Muses is also a day place which could fill another page or two.

There are so many places I could list but they are so hit and miss that it's seldom worth visiting them unless you happen to be in the neighborhood. As far as places that are reasonably consistent, I think you've hit most of them. I just advise anybody wanting to visit the bargain joints... do not try to eat an elephant in one bite.

I will be around the 24th to 31st and cruising local places most nights. One thing for sure is you can have a good time and spend less money but of course quality varies.That just makes the hunt fun.rbc100
