I know this is a Toronto massage forum, but I thought I'd write what happened here to get input from guys who have high AMP/MP experience.
During my first visit of several to amp's in Vegas this past week, something weird, at least to me, happened. There are tons of these places so I won't get into specifics, but for those who may be visiting Sin City, it's on the corner of Spring Mountain and Decatur...West of the Strip.
This is the first and only time I ever went to an mp during the day. Sitting between two beauty salons (By the way, why are mp's often next to salons?) and on a busy street, this place actually has a discreet entrance. The strip mall is supported by huge pillars, and the entrance is behind a pillar, so nobody sees you go in.
I'm greeted, and opt for the half hour at $50. This is status quo amongst most spas, but I did find a few at $30 for the half with a negligible difference in service. Was asked if I've been there before, and like a rookie, I say no. Must've been the heat. One shower at end of hall, but didn't use it. I always shower at the hotel before going directly to mp's anyway...but will bathe again if the room has a shower.
Attendant was standard, slim asian girl, nice attitude, not bad, but nothing to write home about. Great, very thorough massage, with nice teasing. Accent was thick with a low grasp of english. It took a few times to understand what she was saying, and vice versa. Anyway, flips me over, and actually gives a great massage instead going right for the gold like some mpa's. Begins finish by taking my hand, placing it on hers for me to place it where I want it and stars the ending which is pretty average, and then stops and whispers in my ear "You tip me?"
I ask how much and she says $60. I tell her I only brought an extra $20. I left my wallet in my car, and didn't bring in alot of cash, and figured I'd try and negotiate. Of course it didn't fly. She looks a little disappointed and say no and pulls away. I say okay to $60 and she asks if I have a credit card. I say yes and that I will get it after massage.
So she continues, with the average finish, but to her credit, she took directions very well, and was eager to please. Didn't take any clothes off, but she actually took my hand and encouraged liberal touching of her upper body under her clothes. Finish wound up being a pretty decent 7.5-8. She cleans me up and follows me to the door to watch me get my wallet.
I decide to use a credit card that I had when my credit was shitty, that only has a $200 limit. I use it in situations like this so if it's used illegally and I can't dispute the charges, it's only $200 bucks. Anyway, I remember that I've used it recently, so I pull out my cell to check the limit. It's at this point that the mpa gets a little uncomfortable. I tell her I just need to check the limit. She looks worried, and just says, "No, no problem. You don't have to pay. You have good time? Good!" And leads me out the door.
I had extra cash, but I just said screw it, and left. Now I assumed, maybe she thought I was the law and panicked, but I figured this type of thing was legal in Nevada, so why the reaction?
Anyway, sorry about this lengthy post. Just figured I'd set it up and see what you guys thought. Thanks for any input.
