Video chat room issue..........?

Ok so I'm 13 and I saw this video on youtube where people did funny things on Chat Roulette. Chat Roulette is a chat room where you can video chat with strangers unanimously. So anyway, I thought it would be cool to try it out. So I went on there. I didn't really talk to anybody, I just looked at them and then reconnected to some one else. Once in a while I would just wave too. But one person it connected me to was showing his genitals (balls). It kinda freaked me out, and i left the chat room right away. I had no idea that people put their webcams up to their boobs,penises,balls,etc. One lady had her webcam pointed just at her boobs, and not her face. Luckily she still had her shirt on. Why do these people do this? Why would someone put their sexual parts out there for anyone to see like that. I feel really guilty that i saw that guys balls, and i'm never using chatroulette again. I don't think Il'l tell my mom though, she just get all freaked out. One guy even typed dick for boobs!
