whos got a current scoop on these two?
im a the Amon Plaza so im 2 blocks away but have no wingman and the place looked a little scary from the outside so i didnt go in.
Safe-Friendly - clean...whats the scoop?

I've been in there but never used the sevices, so a surprise may be in store. Also it seems to be a tico MP, selection was pretty poor, so I never went back.
I also didn't like the neighborhood.

I have been to both. They are both extremly hit nad miss. The nightclub is a fun place to have some cheap drinks with freinds, and chat with the locals. Girls are semi independent in the nightclub; it is sort of like Molino Rojo in that regard. I had one of my best sessions there, a 30 year old milf who was wild.

The massage parlor next door had mostly very scary talent, but a few cute girls every once in a while.

Both of the facilities are very low end, and not for those needing creature comforts.

I find the place to be safe enough and have walked there as late as 9PM. Hit and miss as Pychman says but diamnonds can be found at either place from time to time. It is an early night option as girls show up earlier than late night spots. I suggest 8 to 10 PM as best time to go. MP is open in the afternoon opening around mid day.rbc100

Well put RBC, these places are very very very hit or miss. I have gone to each spot at least 4 or 5 time in a trip before I pull the trigger.

Mileages vary, but it's not that dangerous before say 10 pm. Quite safe via taxi. Inside you won't be hassled, trust me. You will be treated well since they know from your gringoness that you can actually do more than just buy a beer and stare. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but I like the place. (I guess that's not much of a recommendation...)

I mostly agree however, those ticos aren't shy in doing business in those "Tico" bars duh!

I think the management sees more dollar signs when the ticos walk in rather than when we walk in...especially VIPs 1&2

after all they have been around 20-25 years and not just waiting for a few, very few of us to grace those portals

I don't mean to imply they depend on Gringos. But they do like Gringos visiting. They don't need us, but they like our money. Sound familiar?
