The rest of your post is a good illustration of a universal fact of human nature. The world is divided into 3 types of people - cynics, realists and idealists. Your attitude toward sex workers places you on the cynical end of the spectrum. There is no right or wrong answer, but I would humbly contend that if the main things on your mind when visiting an MP is worrying about the girl "grabbing hold of your life savings" or "knowing anything more about you", then you probably don't enjoy the session as much as you would otherwise.

Cynicism is bred by experience. My younger brother, a trusting and loving soul, was financially
