Hi Mrs Toby,
I would definitely recommend that you do a longer course with a proper qualification than only a two day course. You can learn a lot in two days but not as much as you would do if you did it over a longer period and practise with case studies. People would not be as happy to go for a massage with someone who only studied two days. I went on a day course in London a year ago, won't mention the name. It was great to learn a few skills in a day but didn't give methe confidence you will need when dealing with people and especially if they will pay you to have an Indian Head Massage. So I then did a few months course, an ITEC qualification. It requires you to have Anatomy & Physiology first which requires some hard and long study hours, but a great achievement and something that you can have with you all your life. Anatomy & Physiology is a skill that won't change much over time like IT. And if someone comes to you for an Indian Head Massage and talks about a certain condition you will sound sooo much more professional if you know and understand what they are talking about. There are some Beauty Schools that run proper courses too I think. Otherwise a lot of the local colleges do Indian Head Massage courses, ITEC etc.Good Luck! Invest in the time to learn Indian Head Massage itis great! And we therapists want people to take us seriously, don't we?
