So I was  thinking its time for some new massage CDs - Whats your favorite?   Right now Enya is my player, but my ALLTIME  favorite is Lifescapes, Native American Meditations.  LOVE it.  Never get tired of it.Heck - answer for your home CD player too....right now in mine is Ray Charles - Genius Loves Company.  (Crazy Love with Van Morrison *sigh* its the best)

I've mixed a lot of cd's, even changed the Beats-Per-Minute at the end/beginning of each song so that there's no pause, just flows into the next song, but eh, that also means I have to make my own cd's, lol.

At work and home office Tai Chi Reflections, I've had many compliments on it. I think I got it at Walmart. (LOL Go figure). In my car I listen to Limp Bizkit, Crystal Method, Beastie Boys, 311 and a bunch of other things.I Love Music it sooths the soul.Brent out

Harp music.. I read in a massage magazine that the tone and pitch of harp music has been studied and proven that it calms and reduces stress.. so i bought harp instrumental music, it is NICE

I have a Ralph Towner cd ("Solo Guitar") that I've been using a lot for massage. It's acoustic, relaxing and beautiful music to listen to. I like to mix it up a bit with other types of music, like Carlos Nakai "Canyon Trilogy" (American Indian flute) and some jazz (Kieth Jarrett trio "Standards" with Gary Peacock and Jack DeJohnette).With one fellow student I trade with semi-regularly, we decided to try something completely different; working with an African drum and vocal cd by an incredibly talented local musician originally from Mali (Moussa Traore "Mali Foli DAKAN"). It's rhythmic, a little trance-like, and actually makes excellent background for a more intense, energetic massage.I tried John Coltrane "A Love Supreme" because a lot of it is trance-ish, but it was just a little too intense.For driving around, I actually tend to listen to talk radio.....no, NOT Rush Limbaugh! NPR, Howard Stern **ducks for cover** and a couple of local stations that mix news and talk. I hate TV news and newspapers, so it's about the only way I can keep up with what's up in the world.

I love all kinds of music.  At my office, I have my iPod and a Bose stereo so that I can play anything the client wants to hear (got 500 CDs loaded on this thing!).  This comes in handy because many clients are tired of Enya (whom I love) and I have some who like plain classical, soft rock and even country-western.  I must confess, I don't have much CW since I don't prefer it.In my truck, I have a six-CD player and I burn my own CDs so I have a variety.  Right now, I'm into Bhangra music from India but also have Kanye West, REM, Motley Crue, The Crystal Method, Alice In Chains, Bodyrockers and Andrea Bocelli to name a few.  At home, I also have a stereo for my iPod and it depends on what mood I'm in.
