when is the up and down time(busy and quiet) of MP business?

Since I start this hobby two month ago, i don't know enough the up and down time (busy and quiet time) in MP business? Is it normal to have a lot of stars retiring around this time of year? Is it anything to do with the coming September school year ?? When is the busy time in a year ? Christimas or begining of summer time? When is the slow time of the year ??

Most of the stars that have retired recently have been in business for several years (around 5 or more). That's a long time in this business. It's uncommon to have this many stars retire so closely to one another though. Note: some retire but come back, usually for the money.

They retire for many different reasons, of which school may be one but not the predominant reason. They retire when the time is right for them, irregardless of time of year.

As for the slow times of the year, I think the summer time (especially weekends) or around Christmas would be slowest.

You seem to be asking 2 different things. The first is "up and down time" which has to do with when MP's are busy or there is more or less customer flow. The second is about MPA's leaving the business. Slow business at MP's are affected by a lot of factor's. Several MPA's I have talked to have suggested that business is booming during the summer month's and a few have said quite the opposite. For example, during the NHL season, or the day's when the Leafs are usually playing, the MP's are very quite and business is slow. However, I've stopped by MP's after NHL games and there is a sudden rush. So, it's really hard to say if there are any slow period's. Long weekends are also slow times at most MP's I've been to as well as the Christmas holiday's. As for MPA's leaving the business for college/university, there may be a small percentage who may do so, but several MPA's I've visited even manage to work part-time during the school year. Bottomline, there is no concrete answer and guy's will go whenever they're horny.

I've been told that Dec. to Feb. are the slow months. Dec. because of Christmas. Jan. to Feb. because of overspending at Christmas, and a lot of guys are trying to max out their RRSPs after overspending on the hobby for the past year.

I've also been told that, in general, the MP business is as busy as ever...well, maybe not quite as busy as the late 90's when everyone was making lots of money (just what I've heard since I've only been in this hobby for less than a year). Apparently, a lot of guys who frequent SCs and paid $$ for lap dances are now going to MPs - far more value for the same $$ as most of us know.

The busy days of the week begin Thursday, when the new "Now" and Eye" publications appear. The business continues through Friday and Saturday.

Sunday can be very slow, with Monday-Wednesday being somewhere inbetween

Mp business although is service based but it is as unpredictable as the retail business.You can't really say which time is going to be great or dead.
Most mpa's retire when they find that they have made enough outta this business and wanna start a new one and some of them retire just to settle down.

I'm not sure Thurs being busy is because of the Now or Eye publications. Perhaps more hotties work end of week? Besides most of us get pay end of week and make plans on Thur for the weekend?

You're quite correct about many guys getting a Thursday pay packet.

Some MPAs have other "legit" jobs for the first part of the week aswell.

I love going mid afternoon on a slow day. There's no clock watching, and a girl seeking tips after a slow shift seems more motivated.
