When you're introduced to a girl... you?

im not too sure. up til now ive just givin a gentle hand hold...
but what does a girl want?
also.. when some1 introduces you to a girl or boy (specifically girls), how do you start the conversation :|
i usually can do this, but i dont have a routine, so i sorta struggle the whole way through.
dont tell me crap like 'be confident' cos i can stand there with my chest out but that wont start a conversation.

yeah man the whole "be confident" thing is whatevery one tells you...

because its true, girls look for guys who are happy, friendly, and funny. being shy wont help you and makes everyone seem awkward, dont be over imposing and feel comfortable.

when i meet people, i think when your with friends meeting a few new people, the cheek kiss is best, but if your meeting a group, just wave and say hi!

tell stories, be comfortable, and be yourself

Just start from a simple topic like fav fod, things ETC. and it will eventually go to the flow. for sum girls it's ok to shake hands but if it's with sum others..... they probably think ur boing or sumthin so try to find out the girl's interest and everythins gonna be alright! yea confident..... i dunt think so! ur no perfect person to be confident of urself! dunt make a fool outta urself though! gud luck!

Good question...i don't know why but after reading it this sorta cheered me up.

If i'm ever introduced to a girl, i always shake her hand. As she does mine. Usually there's no other connotation behind it than just a polite way of greeting one another, just like one man would greet another man. .... Only difference is you don't firmly grip her hand hahah i did that once and suffice to say she ended up crying lmao i didn't know! hah

After shaking her hand, i simply start out by saying nice to meet you, and then i ask her (if i don't know already) where she's from, depending on her age (i'm 26), i'll ask something like do you go to college, did you graduate, what did you major in...so on and so forth---i try to get a general knowledge of her....and then if we really hit it off, on a date, i'll start to get into her likes and dislikes....what she likes to do, what her interests are, ...everything. ...But always make sure she does the same with you...i've had instances where the convo only remained on her...she never bothered trying to learn about me.

You can treat her as you would any of your other friends...especially if you hit it off. And see where things go from there. As you find yourself getting more comfortable around her, you'll notice your confidence increase, therefore i don't need to tell you to be confident-i think a lot of people misconceive just what that means (i'm not directing that at you---what i mean is a lot of people make it out to seem like they *have to* be confident in order to find a potential mate, but this isn't entirely true. ...Even if you're nervous or shy, when you start feeling comfortable enough around someone of the opposite gender that you like, you'll notice that your confidence will just naturally increase without you having to even put any effort into it!)
