Where to go on Sundays?

Me and a buddy will be in SJ on Feb 12th with a day to blow. I have heard some places are not even open on Sundays--Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Sundays have always been a great day for me in San Jose, lot's of things to do like Mas chicas posted. 8) I like Sunday night at HDR & KL better than Friday & Sat. Lots of Latinas around if that is what you are looking for.

For me I find more of my type Sunday thru Thursday. :wink:

I agree. Lots of guys leave on Sunday so...better ratio sometimes which means better negotiating. The 'ole "supply and demand" deal.

I believe that the Tico joints (along calle 6) are all closed on Sundays.

Zona Blue is another Sunday option, open 10-6 (I think).

Well, there's always church.

Orange, according to RBC you are mistaken. Some c. 6 joints are open. As mentioned, NF, ZB, evenings at the HDR and Key Largo.

Sundays are traditional family days in Latin America, and it may be hard to connect with a favorita, particularly if she has Babi*s.

If you're not just into mongering, Sundays are great days to visit museums, many of which offer free admission on Sundays. The Jazz Cafe has entertainment. From my experience, the El Pueblo complex north of the arroyo is nearly dead, except for a few restaurants.

The tico places on Calle 6 are open on Sunday as I go there sometimes ltae Sundday morning when all else is closed,Actually a good time to go because much less crowded. Also Europa 2000 is open. At night VIPS 1, Molino Rojo and Arcadas are open and maybe a few others.I can't recall if Monaco is open but may be.rbc100

I spend Sundays (Domingo) with my Novia. We start the day with morning sex, then a shower, then its out by the pool for a quick dip, reading the paper in the hot Costa Rican sun, then back to the apartmento for a quick shower, then its off to the big mall in Escazu for lunch followed by a movie, then its back to mi para mas sexo. I usually put her in a taxi around 6:00PM then I settle in for a quiet nite of TV.

The busiest nights for Bar Castro are friday and saturday nights. The place is packed and it is hard to move around. Upstairs and downstairs.

That makes thursday and sunday nights better for me. Not as crowded but enough people to make it interesting.

I used Sunday as my "Tourist day". Went rafting and did a canopy tour got worn out and then really worn out by a chica at the SL when I got back that night

Just an idea if you are planning on getting out of the city at all during your trip.

Eros, which is directly across the street from Idem is open. I've had some good Sunday morning talent there. The place is a complete dive but, hey..who cares?
