Why does my iPod Touch Yahoo Voice chat keep disconnecting?

I recently purchased an iPod Touch, and downloaded the Yahoo app, it allowed me to use voice chat to other yahoo users, but recently it has started to disconnect me from the call shortly after making it. All the obvious solutions that I can think of I've eliminated, my internet connection is fine, my iPod is functioning normally aside from this issue, I don't have any sort of shake options enabled that would disrupt it. I've tried restarting, resetting, wiping my iPod clean. Downloading Yahoo via IM+ lite but that version doesn't support voice calls, I know there's a few other apps that may work but I like my Yahoo As a side question, what other apps are there that enable free voice chat to pcs? I think Skype, not sure what else. Thanks in advance for any helpful information.
