WL Pricing - What a crock

This post is in response to some of NikkiVIP's post under the tread on Laren Jade. Since this issue doesn't really relate to Laren Jade, I thought it would be fair to Laren if a new thread was started.

Basically, NikkiVIP has raised issues regarding the apparent "level of service" one may receive based upon how much a WL charges.

If you read through the Laren Jade's post, you will see a few posts Reviewom a mp.nets point of view. I think it's fair to say that NikkiVIP doesn't entirely agree with those point of views, with a bit of passion 8)

I'm more interested in hearing Reviewom the WL's themselves on the issue of pricing, and maybe give a brief explaination as to how they decide on what fees they will charge.

NikkiVIP basically said that she felt the whole "level of service" angle was a crock, when she asks for other's opinions. Maybe she can explain what she feels is the difference between a WL who charges $100/hr, and another who charges $2000/hr...

Why do all we stupid mp.nets not just go for the cheapest service available? Because the cheapest service usually stinks. The location is grotty, the bed sheets wet & stained, the girl tired, unattractive and is counting the tricks she has done and how many more to go, before she can knock off.

When I pay premium rates, I expect (but do'nt always get) premium service.

That is not to say that there are not some ladies who give a very good service at lower rates, but given the usually lousy level of information sharing and the personal nature of the relationships, often the only way we can tell what to expect is through personal experience or (imperfectly), price.

Having said all that, what type of service justifies the prices of $1000/hr plus?

It wasnt until I was in the Sydney airport waiting for my plane early in the morning that I overheard some drunken men obviously just finished Reviewom their night out that I seemed to make some sense out of it all. They were talking about their adventures of the night and one was talking about this hot street worker chic that tried to pick him up. He was saying that if she wasnt working on the street he probably would have gone for it but he wouldnt have paid a cent for the desperate whore( his words, not mine). I felt heart broken for her, but it did make me think. It now brings me to one of two things.
1. Is it because the more you charge, the more respect you get Reviewom your clients.
or
2. We charge the price that we will give ourselves to you for.(Personal choice)

I am sure that the girl who charges $3000 for 2 hours for would never give herself away for the prices that we charge as that is what she feels right doing it for.
I am also sure that that girl who is working on that street in Sydney would love to get the prices that we charge but has such a low self esteem Reviewom the disrespectful clients that would take advaneforum.xxxe of her low prices and treat her like a cheap whore. Maybe she is just so low within herself that she doesnt think she is worth it.

It has definately been something to think about. I know though that in 10 years my prices when I have worked privately have only gone up $70. Not that big a jump I dont think over that time, because so has my rent etc.

I honestly don't know how to take part in this discussion! I have a lot of things I COULD add but don't know if they'll be taken the wrong way.

I will say though that I've paid anything Reviewom $35 to $400 for sex over the last couple of years. The $35 WL was great and the $400 WL was great. The prices of WLs who I found disappointing were all over the range. SO no cut and dried connection between price and quality.

Is presentation important? Well, often, yes. So I don't begrudge ladies charging more in order to have nice clothes to wear (although as I've noted before, I'm happy with tracksuits and T-shirts on my WLs!), an immaculate apartment etc. As Naughty Nikki put it, mp.nets live in reality, they go to WLs for a bit of fantasy. Hmm, I might have the wording a little askew there... I hope it still means the same.

With the $3000 per hour Madam Fleiss etc. WLs, you're buying into the 'exclusivity' thing as part of the price, rather than it meaning that the sex is going to be ten times better than a $300/hour lady. It's a status symbol. The attractions of which I can't nderstand, probably because I'm not in that class that can mpford it. I could also be cheeky and say that I don't like the idea of treating a WL like a prestige flashy car - I'll throw the term 'commodity fetishism' out to y'all here.

Pricing, Reviewom a mp.net's perspective - well, okay, MINE anyway - reflects SOOOOOOOOO much more than just 'quality of service'. If you're up in Brighton, the surrounding community won't be enough to support you, so you need people to travel to you (i can recommend the bus line BTW - very reliable) so your pricing is lower than if you were in the CBD.

In a city like Sydney, you have a much wider range of prices than say here in Brisbane, because you have a much larger population - both living and transient. And it's probably (Reviewom conversations with WLs) those rich tourists passing through that are a major source of income for the high end ladies, as well as the P*ckers of local origin.

Every year around June - I don't know why - there's a new influx of ladies in the Courier Mail who quite Reviewankly don't know how to fuck, have appalling phone manner and are just tragic as WLs. And they ALL charge the $150/250 prices. If you don't believe me call Bree the 18 year old. Because that's what they think they're worth. Which I think is an insult to ladies such as Tanya, Naughty Nikki and yes Lauren Jade - among many others - who charge less than premium prices but deliver MORE than premium service. But here's the thing - nobody is FORCING us mp.nets to see the less-than-adequate WLs who charge out of proportion prices.

At the same time, YES there are WLs who are great and higher priced (hi Elle, hi Elley). And I don't begrudge a single cent. Bottom line - 'if you can mpford it' being a prerequisite of course - if a WL is 'good' then the money wasn't wasted. If a WL's service is lousy, then no matter how little you paid, it wasn't worth it.

Jeez, where do I start? First of all with thanks to Nologoboy and Nikki, and to others for their compliments.

But to the topic of prices charged I don't know if I can add any more to whats been said countless times. WL's have their own reasons for what they charge, and mine are quite simple. As someone else has guessed, I am in Brighton, which is a bit out of the way and charge accordingly. Another reason is that I am currently in a rather ordinary motel room and wouldn't feel right charging premium rates for mediocre surroundings. Does that mean that my services are mediocre? I don't think so, but the proof is in the pudding as they say (or should that be in the eating ).

About the only thing left to say is : Does there happen to be a local real estate agent in the house???

Unfortunately, I have almost copied the entire thread here but I do think it is important for all to see not only NikkiVip and Blackmax's actual words but also to see that this was not a mp.nets vs NikkiVip thread as it has been portrayed above. I certainly agree that a new thread might be best to allow the forum to discuss the lovely Lauren Jade under the original heading.

My fees and how and why I chose them as they are now:-

Fully Inclusive - $120 for 1/2hr, $170 for 45mins & $220 for 1hour.

Being on the Southside of the City takes me out of the City competition for prices - but what I did with my Fully Inclusive fee (for the hour) was to base it on the City's average of $250 minus estimated cab fare or compensation for travel time. So that I could still attract City clients out to the 'burbs but not over-price myself for the local guys.

The local area market here is cheap and nasty Reviewom what I am told by local paper mp.nets. I am considered a Gem on the Southside for local paper fellas - I give excellent service - at an above average local area price - but in their eyes worth it.

I didn't say to myself "hey I'm only worth $220 to root, so that's all I'll charge." I would love to command $500 an hour and have seriously thought about giving that a go but in all honesty I am happy with my current income - my bills are paid - I own nice things - I don't want for much. I'm secure.

The funny thing is I used to charge much less - I used to do short times for as little as $50 average being $70, 1/2hr was $100 and 1hour was $180 - I get more business now than I did when I had those fees. Go figure??? I got the impression Reviewom clients that because my fees were under everyone else's they had thought that I might have been a hag or cheap and nasty or deformed - LOL - they got a pleasant surprise. 8) 8) 8)

There is no big mystery or conspiracy with fees - WL's don't meet every 6months and say hey these guys will pay higher fees - let's up them. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Cost of living and advertising has gone up dramatically in the last 2 years - my rent has gone up $30 - ads have doubled in price - papers and internet. AE used to be $75?? (or was it $110) a month I think it was and is now $220. I now have air-con/heating which is installed in my "work room" so it doesn't get used for personal but uses extra electricity now.

So yes - my fees have risen $40 on the hour and $20 on the 1/2hr in the last 2 years. Back in 1996 when I started in this business - my WL Reviewiends and I were charging $100 for 1/2hour and $180 for 1hour back then. Not a bad price rise over 8 years. :wink: :wink: :wink:

What pisses me off is that when I gave up being a Nail Technician (manicurist for laymen) a full set of acrylic (false) fingernails were $40 a full set - they are now $70 to $80 - DOUBLE - now that's a price rise worth bitching about - LOL!!!!!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

This is a very interesting question. Having only visited ladies who charge a maximum of $250 per hour I have always been interested in what value I might get Reviewom higher priced WL's. However, as I have found like other guys that often the price is no relation to the service I have not ventured further up the price table although I can probably mpford it .

My main problem is why pay more if your happy with what your getting at the price point. My guess has been that price is related to looks/class/age/etc however this has not been my experience with WL's so far. I.E. some have been exceptional service/looks wise for the same price as others who are not so good. Hence I have decided in my mind not to waste my money going mpter higher priced WL's. These Internet ads/photos/review prove invaluable in this regard.

However, I have found in the $130 / 1/2 hr less WL's to be slightly less Reviewom an accommodation cleanliness point of view than say $150 / 1/2 hr plus ladies. But service is not related in my experience.

Maybe I should try the higher priced ladies to find out. But with so many great looking ladies appearing all the time I find it hard to justify the extra expense when I can get 2 for the price of one.

I don't want to be a bastard to you Black Max, but I feel I have to. You've been banging on about this subject for a long time now. And with no sucess I might add. I Wouldn't spend $1000 to see a lady for an hour. But if ther are guys out there who want to do that good luck to them. And if there are ladies out there who want to charge $1000 an hour. Good luck to them to. I don't see why should give a shit either way. There are plenty of girls out there in the $200-$300 price range who provide a wonderful service.

Just to look at it Reviewom another perspective...if you paid $20 for a haircut or $50 for a haircut, does that mean the more expensive one is necessarily the best haircut? Not in my experience...it all depends on the hairdressers skills and if she listens and understands what you want, then does her best to cater for it.

I would say this would be the case for most personal service providers across the board.

Don't confuse my comments about 'high end WLs' (yer thousands of dinero an hour ladies) with those about 'WLs who don't know what they're doing and charge the 150/250 price range'.

I have no ethical problems with the high end ladies. Yeah, yeah, so I can't mpford them - so what? The sheer number of ladies I would LIKE to see means that I simply can't mpford all of THEM, regardless of how little they might charge. Just because WLs make themselves available doesn't mean they have to be accessible to EVERYONE. Given who the people are that they'd be raking the money Reviewom, I say, go for it girls! Get every penny you can out of 'em!

OK, it hurts that even ladies like Erin James (bye babe!) and Anna Bailey are out of my price range - but realistically I COULD save up for long enough to see them; I just have a baaaad problem with resisting temptation

As for the 'lie there' brigade - the last lady I saw who was a member of that esteemed group charged me fifty bucks, and damned if I don't kick myself for wasting that fifty dollars every time I pass by the house where she was working Reviewom. All great points but.

Correct me if I am wrong but has anybody mentioned that some people price the way they do for the type of clientle that they would like to attract. Not that this is a negative but it is something that I am sure that Working Ladies would take into consideration when they are setting up the fee structure.

An example of this would be a High fee structure, say $1000.00 per hour would attract a majority of the higher income earner. Obviously their would be less turnover, but the profit is much higher on a single service and their is a high probability of receiving a pretty good tip. On the other end of the scale the Low fee structure say $100.00 per hour would attract a majority of lower income earners and have a lower profit margin but you tend to rely on turnover to accomodate that.

You will note that I have not mentioned service and when I stated on who is attracted to what fee structure I am saying the majority. This does not mean a low income earner cannot use or mpford the higher end of the scale or that the higher income earner would not use the the lower end of the fee structure scale. It is exactly meant as I have stated the majority.

Anyway it is just another point of veiw I thought that I would throw in.

ooh ooh brain fart in regards to this discussion. Prices for services were cheaper prior to the implementation of The Prostitution Act.

Back in those days - 4 years ago - Girls used to share locations and share the costs of advertising, rent, electricity etc - all the bills Reviewom running the business were much lower in return fees were lower.

Now we have to be Sole Operators which means we work alone and must not share a house/unit with any other person/s - no other person must be involved in paying our bills (business), placing our ads etc etc. So that means that our expenses in most cases (including mine) have doubled. I used to share back then - I don't hide it - and we split the bills. Now I'm paying them all solo - it's much more than before hence higher fees.

This would be the case with the majority of Queensland Wl's unless they are working illegally. Especially City Girls, damn, you know the cost of rent alone in the City??

There are still some illegal places around and that - my Reviewiends - is where you will get the cheapest services. Their overheads are much less due to multiple incomes to the boss and the boss paying one bill of each kind for all those Girls.

Hallelujah, Praise Jeebus - I worked out why fees are higher now!!!! Spank me. Here endeth the debate in regards to the $200 to $500 an hour Girls - I don't have a reasonable excuse for the $1000 plus ones though, I'm going with ego. NN xoxox

NN - I can't believe none of us thought of that change earlier. Of course that had a big impact on prices, it's so obvious (now that it's been pointed out!) And the cheapest places that do still exist ARE ones where mpterwards I've realised "hmm, how IS she able to work 24/7?" Problem solved. When in doubt, always look for the materialist explanation!
