TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Six suspects were arrested for prostitution and money laundering after an investigation revealed they were running a prostitution ring out of 13 Asian massage parlors across the state.
Jade Spa on Williams Street in Tallahassee was one of the 13 spas included in the investigation.
61-year-old Lian Ying Ma was booked into the Leon County Jail Wednesday. She is charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering.
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement say females of Chinese descent were offering sex acts in exchange for additional money after providing massages.
Officials say the massage parlors are owned by Robert Neil Jones, 67, of Naples, Florida with co-owners or managers running each location. The six people arrested this week are considered the main suspects in the case.
10 additional suspects were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering.
“We are focused on conducting interviews to determine whether human trafficking is part of this criminal enterprise,” said FDLE Ft. Myers Special Agent in Charge Shane Pollard. “The arrests are just the beginning of this investigation.”

Jade Spa in Tallahassee was busted for prostitution twice in 2016.
In September 2016, 50-year-old Jing Zhong was charged with solicitation of prostitution after Leon County deputies say she offered to perform sexual acts on an undercover officer in exchange for payment.
47-year-old Wan Min Pang was arrested March 2016 for prostitution and practicing massage without a license.
