would it be weird if i chatted him on facebook? ideas?

k so i saw him when i was in the other weekend and he came up to me at the club and put his arm around me and said " do you remember me?" of course i remembered him, it had just been 8 years!!
and i DIDNT remember his name -_- talk about stupid... UGH
anyways he laughed and said "im clay" and continued to talk, ask me how old i am now, what grade im in, and how he couldn't believe how much ive grown sense he saw me last.
Throughout the night, i saw him and would look him in the eyes and we would both smile and kinda laugh.

i really really like him, but he is 22 and im 17..
he is also my brothers/family friend.
i added him on facebook.... no biggie right??
well, now i really want to talk to him more!!


****do you think it would be weird if i "accidentally" chatted him? or do you have a better idea!?!?

please help me!!! any ideas welcome.
