Used to using one of those desk top rests, so help needed with chair setup.
Desk top rest was getting tatty so decided on a chair. I can adjust the height of arm rest, sternum rest, seat and head rest height on the one I purchased.
However, it is totally uncomfortable for anyone who has sat in it.
If you have a 'spare tyre' like myself, it is extremely uncomfortable as the sternum rest 'squashes the stomach area, even on the highest setting. I am short (only 5') though.
Also short men have complained the seating is such that they squash certain delicate parts of their anatomy against the central pole. They cannot sit further back as their smaller length thighs only allow so much backward movement before the back of the knee stops against the seat.
Can anyone advise on these problems or setting up the chair properly.
It seems to be designed for people over 5'6'' and most people in my area of the country are small.
Do other 'shorties' have problems with these chairs?
