Was out and about today, there's a few new chicas at Relax and for all you guys who liked Yoselyn (Joselyn) she's at HLH and looking good. Also one of the chicas hiding under the bed during the raid pissed herself she was so scared : : : They thought it was a robbery and were up in one of the suites.

When they raid the place do they come in with masks, yelling "raid" or policía - allanamiento? Do they have guns drawn?

Seriously, I don't know. Has anyone been around when one of the raid went down? What is it like?

They come in yelling polica and guns out. They round up everyone and start asking questions. Once they complete the question make sure to have your documents ready. They review documents and you are free to go.
I have only seen working girls being taken away, that was at the Del Ray two years ago.

I have been in two raids in total the one at NF was not nice as they had the TV station with them and I was able to get out before the got enough of me to get me in trouble here in Costa Rica. I left my car parked outside NF and hauled ass outta there on foot. I went back for the car later.

For you guys that don't live here all the time it is not a big deal to make the local news. If you have a friend base, business, or families ties it can become a nightmare.

Thanks Czar for the input. It is almost laughable that they would manage the scenario like that – entering a business with guns drawn. What is the potential threat? I guess it gives new meaning to the old term shooting beaver.

I really do understand your comment about TV cameras and being seen in a place you would rather not be seen.

I spend a lot of time in Costa Rica and a lot of local people know me. I don't want to make the local news. : : :

I enjoy my privacy in Costa Rica.

Most locals visit MP and other location but no one wants to be identified at those location during a raid on TV. They run the videos 100 times on the local news. Someone you know will see you. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Gossip is a killer and San Jose is a tiny place if you're here long enough.. You really gotta be careful if you don't want to be judged/gossiped about amongst your peers if you live in San Jose.
