ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — On the spur of the moment, you decide you need a massage. Work is stressful, the kids are loud and your back is hurting. Well, on April 21, you’re in luck.
Zeel Massage On Demand is expanding to New Mexico.
Using the Zeel App, customers can book massages anywhere from one hour to one month in advance and get a massage in the comfort of their own living room.
According to a Zeel news release, the app will allow customers to chose the gender of the therapist, the duration of the appointment and the type of massage, including deep tissue, Swedish, sports , prenatal and couples massages.
“We recruit (massage therapists) through our relationships with premier massage schools,” Chief Marketing Officer for Zeel Massage On Demand, Cynthia Irons told the Journal. “Typical massage therapists for Zeel have five years of experience and we put them through thorough in-person vetting before hiring them.” All Zeel massage therapists are licensed and insured.
“We actually launched Zeel Spa in 2015,” says Irons. “It’s sort of a staffing solutions company for spas. Because of our vetting process and security measures, spas have found that they can trust our therapists.”
