Now that I have your attention.

First, let me qualify. I am not a newbee. I am a long time Zona Blue customer and CRT member. I have always been a supporter of Zona Blue and I have sent a lot of business there. I am posting anonymously so that in the future, when things get better, I can return without any hard feelings. Hopefully this post will be well received, that is the intention.

That said, this post is meant as a wake up call for management.

#1 It has been expressed to me personally that CRT business “is a hassle”. What has been communicated to me is that the CRT discount is “more trouble than it is worth”. Personally I feel this is just wrong. Zona Blue gets more publicity and more referrals than virtually any other business in all of Costa Rica from CRT. The new policy insisting on having card in hand is a little over the top. It is not that hard for them to look up active members and for all the business and publicity that they get from CRT they should be happy to provide this service.

#2 The level of talent there is the worst I have ever seen at Zona Blue. With Yirla, Erika, Andrea, Brenda, and Leticia gone the only true hotties left is Karin and Kaite (Nica). Karin is hardly ever available because and there are often 2 or 3 guys waiting for her. Yes some of our old favs are still there, Pamela, Naomi and some of the others that have been there a long time, while still good providers, lets face it their bodies are starting to show signs or wear and tear from being in the business so long. New talent is desperately needed!!!!!

#3 The propina thing has gotten out of hand. As a return customer you are pretty much expected to pay a $20 propina. CRT is up in arms about the price increase at Idem, but with the $20 propina, Zona Blue is actually more expensive and the quality is just not there any more.

#4 As has been reported elsewhere, many of the girls there are not into being there. Most often all the primetime players are busy upstairs and what is left for guys coming in off the street is a bunch of disinterested chicas that look totally board and disinterested in being there. Myself and others are turned down when they don’t feel like having sex. The weekends especially, the pickings are very slim and often disappointing.

We are all looking forward to the upcoming enhancements. However, I think that maybe management has taken their eye off the ball and they need to get back to basics.

I am looking forward to Zona Blue getting back to where they were. Until they do, I think CRT members should be looking elsewhere and demanding more.

Sounds to me like it's time for a tune-up by the managers at ZB. All this free publicity may have spoiled them with all the business they can handle, so they've gotten complacent.
I was planning on visiting ZB several times when I arrive in late January. I'll be curious to see what others have to say about ZB these days.

Yes, it is bad when talent is low and the only hottie available is holding out for whoever agrees to a $20 propina. This thread does bring up the dilemma that management needs to plan for when they open 10 more rooms and do not have enough quality girls to make it a value proposition for the guests.

I will not address Customer service issues, but having your CRT CARD IN HAND sorry guys I agree 100000% percent that this is policy and will remain policy.

It is also no to hard to come on the board find a VIP members name with a flag and walk into ZB and state I'm so and so look me up... Since we only provide screen names for verification (Security that you all asked for) than providing your card protects the INTEGRITY OF CRT & ITS MEMBERSHIP.

So with regards to carrying your card simple Carry it to receive your discounts regardless where your going...

The rest I will not comment on as I do not comment on other persons business. I might also add if you have something to say, do not hide behind an alias as your first post...

Every business goes through cycles so I wanted to put forward this to show how great it can be. ZB is the best place to think outside the box as to what you want. Simple girl and you. Yeah, that is there but it has much more to offer. If you do noy believe me, check some of my postings from a few years back. I did more than one spa day and quite a few trips there with the wife. Have faith and ZB will make your dreams come true.

well, obviously you're not a regular as they are not afraid to say what they feel, and eddie is definately up to trying to fix any problems.

That said, this post is meant as a wake up call for management.

Eddie told me the exact same thing, along with outlining the specific reasons why. while I am not one to talk others business, I will say it had alot to do with among other things, CRT members insisting on taking taxis to ZB and then ZB having to pay a $8 fee to the taxi driver for bringing in a customer. arguing that they are a regular doesn't work as they will just tell people they are closed up and not take people there. then they have to give a discount on top of that.

I was there for halloween and I have to disagree. I do like karin and always seem to find her quite available most of the time. as for new talent, I tried out no less than 6 great new girls, at least 2 of them will be superstars if they stick around long enough. I stay away from the ones like pam and the rest as they just don't do it for me anymore.

I can't really comment on this one, as I have still not ever gotten a request for a tip in all my trips to zona blue. the closest I have ever came was when I wanted to take some pictures, a girl said "you are going to tip?" but no price wasever asked and she was already starting to pose for the pictures. I guess when you get a reputation as a tipper, you don't have to worry about it.

This is my biggest, an usually, my only complaint about the place. ignoring you, talking on the cell phones, etc. although, when you call one over, their attitude completely changes. it's almost like they are told/trained to ignore you in the exact same way.

In closing, I think there are alot of improvements that could be made. but then again, no where else do I get treated the way I do there, it would have to go way down hill for me to stop going. I can go find hookers anywhere, I can't find that environment anywhere. it's not a place for everyone, but it's the place for me, it's exactly what I always envisioned in the kind of place I would like to go. great cigars, nice small bar, the kind of girls I like(easy), an excellent host.

But that's my opinion, I could be wrong!

Nobody is twisting your arm to give a large propina. I'm so sick of guys complaining about this. Grow a sack and say no. If you are afraid of them talking about you, then give a large tip and they won't. That's the way it works, there's nothing management can really do about it.

If you are that unsatisfied, find another locale.

I do think the playing field at ZB is heavily tilted in favor of those who are staying in the suites, and perhaps rightly so. If 10 new suites are indeed added next year, they might as well turn it into a private club for guests only. The pickings for those coming in off the street will likely be far more meager than they are now.

I was in ZB yesterday and this morning just before noon. On both occasions, I tried to get Vanessa's attention with no response. I went to her to ask her name and she looked down at the floor after telling me, and wouldn't talk anymore. Now, I am a senior citizen, but I am clean, not over weight, and not a bad llking "old" geezer, but this kind of "non-customer service" will drive me away. Maybe she should have a change of venue as a "wake up" call for her and others that have the same tendencies!

I agree with most of what has been said. Regarding the cab issue, that is eddie's choice. Every seasoned monger knows that cab drivers will lie to get a greater commission. This is a big problem in TJ as well as Bangkok.
Smart mongers will just insist on going to ZB anyway. Like they do in TJ and Bangkok. Best thing Eddie could do is stop paying the cabbies. And maybe come up with a ficha system. There are some guys who only want to buy the girls drinks. So let them make a few bucks off of the drinks. That would help some.

I'am a BIG fan of ZB,I session 3-5 times a trip(usualy 2 or more girls)and spend money at the bar. I always tip and NEVER have been asked for one.A wingman of mine had a small problem(overcharge on cc) and Eddie promptly fixed it.Since a couple of girls blew off other guys for me a time or two,i don't have a problem with that either(its up to them). I agree at times the pickings are slim ,its at those times that i buy a drink and take a seat to consider my options.In closing i always go between 10:am and 2m,i always walk(stay at DR) both ways so cab money doesn't enter into it for me.What we should all realize is that we have more options/venues if are best laid plans blow up a little.ZB will always be my MP of choice.
