Too bad NYE. But at least you tried, otherwise you would have never known. But if you really want to meet someone put yourself in a situation where you will meet women who are interested in dating. That's the problem with MPAs, they are just doing a job and keep their guard up because it is necessary for their line of work. Like I said in an earlier post I had a lot of fun while hobbying but it was just an outlet for while I was single.

Some of the lines that you heard were pretty common ones.... e.g. "too weird to date a client", "you're a great guy" and "you'll find somebody." At the very least you can say that she was nice enough to let you down gently which should count for something considering it would have been traumatic if she wasn't nice about it.

Anyways, you were betting on a long shot and I think that's why so many massageplanet.netites were skeptical.

Seriously though, try internet dating if you want to meet a woman to date and in the meantime you can keep hobbying. E-dating would allow you to meet women who are interested in dating and you can learn about their looks, interests and wants before you even meet them which increases the odds of finding a a date (remember baby steps.... start just a date). Plus that might be a forum where you can use your writing skills and creativity but I still think you need to tone down sexual innuendoes in future letters.

Lavalife worked for me and quite a few other people that I know.
It's also a good way of meeting people outside your circle of friends. When I mention how I met my GF a lot of people remark that they also know people who have hooked up through LL. The coolest part about the site was that there's just about every type of person out there (I thought it'd be nothing but computer geeks but there were a lot of cool, well rounded and interesting people out there).
