I'd bet there are Asian therapists who have customers saying the same thing about non-asian providers. Why is that so fuckin hard for you to understand?

Look, anyone would be pissed if they went online and saw some of the things that were said about you here. Some of those things were very disrespectful. Some people don't give a shit if providers are hurt by what they say and many providers who once participated here have been alienated by this forum, which has basically no moderation. People are never going to agree on what is fair game in reviews, especially in a place with no rules.
I think the best thing you can do is ignore people if they are assholes. They will only try to get under your skin. Other than that, if there is any valid criticism to be had here, it might help to address it openly or just consider it. You could also place an ad in the classified section here if you're looking to reach some more eyeballs in general. There are lots of clients here.

What was said that was SO disrespectful? Most generally agreed that Ann gives a good massage. Some questioned whether or not her picture was real. One complained about service (his own fault IMHO) and one's opinion of her appearance- which is subjective.

The thing is- this is a "Massage Review Forum" where people share their experiences with various massage providers and studios/clinics. Any Service Provider (SP) who wants to participate here has to have thick skin as we will always share our unadulterated experiences- good or bad, in our own words. Although sometimes harsh, rarely does anyone post hurtful, disrespectful remarks. We all take this site for what it is- a review site where we seek information about SP's and provide our opinion on SP's and and always it is understood that YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) . Many times two people will review the same person and come away with totally opposing experiences. Personally, after having a poor experience with one particular provider, a positive review led me to give her another chance where I changed my opinion about the SP.

To join this forum and dispute another's experience is to show a complete ignorance of the basic purpose of the forum- to share our experiences! If Ann understood this basic principal she would just ignore the bad comments, take the good and thank the people who support her and promise to try and improve her services and leave it at that. That's called "Growing a Pair"! But to continue to argue, insult and belittle others on the forum is counterproductive from a business point of view and does nothing to contribute to the discussion on the forum.

I think the best thing you can do is ignore people if they are assholes.

This all said, I agree- there are always the assholes so take this advice.
I hope Ann can see the bigger picture here and let things slide and move on. It just takes a little maturity to rise above the few negative comments.

I did learn something here....those crafty Asian masseuses have been fooling me for years making me believe that those deep therapeutic massages, back walking, gliding cupping etc was good for me. Shame on me.

I should have stuck with the lame no-effort massages where the therapists talk non stop and tell you how great they are and how much their clients love their massages. .

Albertaman, EVERY GUY I talked to about Asian massages in my 9yrs was never going to see one again. That is just my...& their experience... that is all. If you...& other guys like them fine, I never talked to anyone in 9yrs that did...that's all I was saying.

It's not about maturity, negative comments affect business right? It's one thing if it's subjective & just solely a person's taste...but not everyone will see it that way first of all....secondly it's another thing if it's not true or unfair, my chest pic is not fake for example.
The guy who commented on my table...it has a slight wobble & been actively looking for a new one, I apologized to him for that & his response was "no problem".
Yes my building is an older building, I would rather not pay 1,000 in rent during inflation especially...or any other time. The heat is good, AC when hot, free parking, privacy & discretion, & many tenants not around or mind their own business...it works.
I saw a guy's post of another lady, his post was very short, said she was good but didn't want to be reviewed on here & to respect her wishes. When asked what her contact info was from someone wanting to see her, the guy said she had stopped massaging due to not wanting to be on these reviews..that's kinda sad. And it's not about maturity or having a thick skin or being too sensitive. Reviews have business and personal consequences, you're reviewing human beings not just titts and asses...many of you will find that funny but I assure you many therapists aren't laughing. This website is just people who are mystery shopping for the sake of mystery shopping & not much else, there's a difference between going to a store to buy a good pair of jeans or going there to buy something for the reason of mystery shopping & sending full reports to everyone when you get back.
Thank you to the people who gave fair, honest, or good reviews.....the chest review was indeed flattering, maybe will have to have it carved in my tombstone as one of my legacies. Have a good day everyone.

Fair enough, Ann. I guess I'm looking at it from my perspective in that I take every review 'with a grain of salt' knowing that it is subjective. If ALL the reviews of a particular SP are negative, I thank the board for it's existence and avoid that SP. If there are mixed reviews and something is said that intrigues me, I might give her a try- and give my own review (**note the review on Indian Emma**)

I like to think we can spot a "hater" who just wants to cause trouble for a SP by spouting lies and slander. But, once again, that's my perspective as a mature pooner and others will fall for the lies. I'm sure, as a SP you already have a pretty thick skin and have experienced all the scam artists and abusers and slobs and have blocked a lot of phone numbers. You may need to form an "Association" to collaborate with other SP's for your own protection?

But, I assure you, after all the drama you've created on this board, I'm not likely going to see you any time soon...

Ann now gives awesome massage and pleasure with a solid review. Great then it’s a win win

Ann gives a halfhearted effort then Ann gets some recent honest feedback and can either continue arguing about it or find out how she can do better

That's fine don't need to see another Massage Planet mystery shopper lol. 99% people go to massages to obviously mystery shop. The "drama" is your word not mine...I was simply standing up for myself old threads or not.....sorry The Little Boys Club couldn't take it. It's not drama....that's clearly just your perception. That's not the answer because everyone is different & what they like, looking for, enjoy, don't like, are attracted to or not ...is also different. Plenty of regulars like me & my services.. others don't...same as other practitioners....or reviews for anything else. BTW massages have been awesome in the past & in the present. I admire SP's who actually participate in this forum and defend themselves. The risk is coming on too strong and alienating your {potential) clientele. I appreciate it is frequently a thankless job having to put up with some of us who may be, to be polite, less-than-sanitary. I think the input of SP's is very valuable to us Massage Mongers and if a SP was wise they would take some our suggestions to heart. And a truly savvy SP and business person would actually use this forum to promote her business and take advantage of it as free advertising (As we know several SP's have done just that!)

Unfortunately, it seems Ann is neither savvy or wise....
