Gone for good and not reopening (at least not at this location). The girls must be pissed. The process for a court order shutting the place down would have started well before the new management bought the place, one would think. The place was probably already doomed when it was paid for. Doesn't reflect so well on the character of the former owner.

Oh well. At least it looks like most of the girls have found work pretty quickly: Sue is at Bluesky, Ivy (Tasha) is at Dreamgirls and Yuki is at Unicorn. Speaks well for the girls that they've all landed elsewhere so quickly. Hopefully they'll get back on their feet and maybe even open up shop somewhere again. Best of luck to them.

Not sure the staff anywhere is actually ever 'new' anyway. I do think this an improvement over the crew that had been there for the past few months. But it does seem like the posts on this thread have degenerated into talking about how far one goes back with Ivy/Tasha and/or AsianBarbie.

As happens with management/staffing turnovers generally, the real test is not with the 'core' girls who for various reasons will be around consistently, but rather what the new management can do in terms of generating enough foot traffic to bring in 'non-core' quality girls that stick around. Used to take a month or two for that to happen with a well-run operation; now it seems like it takes three or four months (see e.g. AsianStar, which I think has finally become a quality shop of late). For purely selfish reasons, I'd like to see AsianBarbie get back up and running, and wish them luck - we need more choices.

Anyway, I saw Happy. She looked to be in her late 30's; five foot two or so, in decent shape. More of a curvy body-type than the other girls though not overweight. Sort of a spunky personality/attitude, with a face and look that matches the attitude. Performance and service was good - I think she falls into the category of somewhat older girls that try harder.

I've made it all the way through the lineup (I don't think Bebe is there anymore), so I'll stop posting about this place until there's someone new I've tried.

Funny how this thread is now getting alot more attention due to the new staff which isn't really new. As all AsianBarbie regulars know. Sue had worked @ AB before going over to HH, and Ivy/Tasha also used to work at AB about a year ago, last year she briefly used the name K (about 1 week) .

Tasha changed her name to Ivy a few years ago for the simple fact that she believed that to many providers were using that name.I told her a lot of guys liked her and if she changed her name those guys who knew her as Tasha would get confused and she might lose some of her customers!

It's funny how KMPs think about advertising/marketing sometimes - especially when there's management turnover, there's just a huge barrage (and considerable spend) to every outlet possible. A lot of that money's wasted if you ask me. They might just keep both websites and advertise them both; it looks like Ivy is already pulling double duty as Ivy and as Tasha in separate ads... I find that a changeover is a good time to visit (so long as there's some stability to the staffing and there's no bait and switch going on) - all that money spent tends to focus management's mind on generating repeat busines. By the way, if you haven't tried Sue, I'd recommend her - had a second visit with her and was very satisfied. Second visit with Yuki was same as the first, not bad, but no improvement - maybe I'm losing my touch...

I had hoped to get Yuki, so that I could test more of the line-up. Instead, Ivy appeared again : and a good time was had (not much to add review-wise : except that they are 'spectacular'). I can see how Ivy ( aka Tasha) could become a regular 'go to girl'...

Also : They're changing over website (starting today, apparently). The new site is AsianFlowerNYC.com (from AsianBarbieGirl.com).

Line-up is identical, there's a new 'public phone #' (though the number on the frequent flier card will still be valid). My guess is a 1 month change-over period was enough to recapture all the regulars, and they want to move forward from the 'old' set.

Based on comments here, I revisited ABG - I had almost given up on the old line-up.

All new management and girls : and Ivy is quite a charmer. Personally I found nothing to complain about body-wise, but she has a playful attitude which made the whole session a 'definitely would repeat'.

I always start off in English. If the girl doesn't ask/mention anything, it's English all the way through. Even when I see someone new, though, they generally seem to know from a colleague or the phone lady that I'm a Korean speaker - I'm pretty sure each monger's phone profile denotes ethnicity and/or special language skills. Quite often, the girls prefer to stick with English even if Korean is an option. There are mixed feelings about speaking in Korean - some find it too personal; others find it refreshing to be able to speak fluently.

Saw Yuki. Upon closer inspection, she's not really new to the scene. A few of you may recognize her from another context, but she likely has a reason for her current handle so I am not going to identify her previous handle(s). Body-wise: medium height, skinny, and fairly nice enhanced chest - I'd give her an 8, based on my taste. Face-wise, I'd give her a 7: a pretty girl, but not particularly unique. Got good service from her - nice TS with some flirting, enthusiasm in all the positions with no unusual restrictions and no rush. Got the feeling that I sometimes get that more interesting possibilities will open up with repeat visits. The downside is that she could be more of a YMMV girl than usual. That's just speculation/intuition, of course. Would personally repeat.

By the way, re the random ATF sighting I mentioned earlier in the thread, she is still retired, and did not want to be identified.
