An old GF of mine had a yeast infection once and believe me, it's nothing like the "fish smell" ... It's unbearable. You are right that it is most likely a hygiene issue, but also people do have different chemistry's.


I agree that in general, shaved does not have that "musky" smell of some that are unshaved.

I have to admit that a little aroma is nice, in low doses ( bad pun ) as opposed to squeaky clean.

Once you get past the smell, you got it licked.
I wouldn't recommend that all the time though.

Sorry, Mighty1, but it CAN be very normal. Diet can even affect the beaver's smell and taste. It is not necessarily a sign of uncleanliness or infection. Appetizing no.....normal, usually yes! ---Dr. Moe

Mighty 1 is right. A strong fishy smell is likely baacterial vaginosis, caused by a bug called gardnerella.

Like I said, let your nose be your guide. If it smells bad, stay away.
