I don't want that kind of activity, favourite or not, I book for 1pm, I want 1pm .... I'm a paying a customer, I book a time, I expect that time. On occasion maybe 5 or 10 minutes, but if it occurs with the same girl, I drop them.

There are 100's of spas and 1,000's of girls ... there are many girls and spa owners who know how to appreciate a good long term customer.

But some people wait in line for a table at the Keg? I'll book a reservation and walk right on in generally. Most appreciate the booking and the longer term relationship (at least the smart ones).

Overall, I suggest everyone book an appointment, this walk in business is crazy, like hit a miss, not something I do.

I expect a certain level of professionalism. This is still a business, regardless of what they’re selling. Why do some spas stay in business, and others fold? Because the ones that last cater to the needs of their clients in a professional manner.

Fact remains, if there is a receptionist there is much more control and accountability.

My regulars I talk to always, BUT, never book with the girls, always book with the manager.

Another consideration here.

I had one of the girls say (naturally I no longer visit her), but she said a 1 hour appointment cost her money.

Her rational, she had to wait for me at my appointment time (lets say 7pm), the walk-in comes in at 6.40pm she had to decline and let another girl take the walk in.

My time is 1 hour, and another walk in comes in and the other girl takes the walk in again, so her rational was was this.

My appointment visit tip $100 and room fee $30 total of $130 VS the other girl, 2 half hour walk ins min tip $100 (2 x $50) , and two room fees at $10 each ($20). so $120. BUT ...

She could have, 2 half hour walk ins $160 (2 x $80), and two room fees $10 each ($20), could mean $180.

This girl naturally a hustler was prepared to take her chances, and lose a regular. But fact remains, her math is likely accurate, certainly close to break even.

This one had the audacity to advise me "NOT TO VISIT TOO OFTEN, MABYE ONCE A MONTH", she never saw me again (except in the hall way)!

Not being overly educated, one might suggest her chances longer term were better with a good regular, who will bring a few "nice things, gift cards" etc from time to time and a more stable income.

I think many of the girls are like bulls in bullfight, they see red (cash) and charge ... not enough regard for the longer term opportunites.

Overall I'd suggest most of these issues are alleviated if there is a manager to ensure regular customers get the time they booked. Frankly I won't wait more than 5 minutes, 10 minutes I'm dressed and on the way out.

For those in this area a long time - formerly Kathy at Comfort Foot was famous for this, a 1pm appointment time she would run in 20 or 30 minutes behind schedule, all day long, sometimes seeing 12, 13 or 14 customers in a day.

I guess it helps to be popular, HA!

It’s very common, it’s basically first come first served, even if you have appointment, especially if you are a regular, they think regular customers are flexible, they don’t want to turn away walk in ( possible future regular) there is no loyalty in this business from the provider side

I usually have a dece line of comms with management at spas I goto. If I feel like my loyalty has been punished in these kinds of ways, I abstain for 1 year and let the owner know.

There are far, far too many spas out there to accept poor treatment as a loyal customer, more so now that so many girls are at multiple places- you can deprive a spa of your door fee but not your fav lady of the tips in many cases.

It's a losing strategy, avoiding a dependable regular in hopes of multiple guys who just visit the spa by chance. Like you, I would stop seeing that girl, and I would be sure to visit other girls so she could watch. Most of a day for a spa worker is just waiting around, so she would likely get many opportunities to watch you go by.

This sounds petty but is actually a great route when a girl pisses you off, not the manager. Go see other ones- if you are really tight with the owner? Go see the one you know she doesnt like lol...

I went in as a walk in recently. Alas, to my surprise, every single MPA was busy.

Two of the women came out to talk to me, to make sure I wasn’t going to go away. And the person I was asking about - they knocked on her door to see when she was done. It was super uncomfortable for me to be there - three out of four customers had their session interrupted; some more than others. Anyways I ended up waiting for a bit and got 30 min in.

I have to agree with this...there's definitely a sense of entitlement with some guys on here. Do I get upset when my appointment is delayed? Of course but shit happens and most of the time it's delayed because other guys didn't show up on time or the guy before you is taking his sweet friggin' time leaving after his session is finished. Nobody bitches like crazy when their doctor's appointment or whatever else appointment is delayed but when the spa appointment is delayed by 10-15 mins, all hell breaks loose lol. Unless I'm on a tight schedule, I'll just take a shower and surf my phone for a bit...15 minutes goes by rather quickly.

And yes, nobody likes it when the spa tries to squeeze another customer in before their appointment but from their perspective the walk-in is a sure thing. There are so many guys that book an appointment and then don't show up or even bother to call the spa to cancel. Unless you are a regular customer, they don't know the responsible guys from the fakes so many spas are trying to balance taking the sure thing at the risk of pushing back the appointment time. As a customer, I don't like it either but I do understand why they are doing it. If you are a regular customer, hopefully they will try to contact you first.

I would say it is entitlement to offer subpar service or purposely bump a gpod client (knowing that they will come regardless) and then expect them to return.

No one is making a show of it, shorting tips, or causing any trouble- most are saying its a good reason to spread the $ to other spas.
