good FR buddy, I have been to this place multiple times & like you described, while it is hardly above average - it is pretty consistent. So, when you step in - you know what you are paying for & will not be surprised...

As for whether or not this is worth repeating - just my 2 cents - most locals (in any spa) - will not provide an amazing experience unless you become a repeat visitor.
So - it is not surprising that being your first time - you were fed bullshit like - "service should not go on for more than 5-10 minutes"

As some other seniors in the forum have also suggested, the key is to find a good/acceptable therapist & become a regular to enhance ur experience with time.
I know this is easier said than done as the natural human curiosity is to keep looking for newer flavor ;-)
