SP's in Public

So this could be one guy's dream and another's nightmare.

I will have to keep this somewhat cryptic as I do not want to give away my job or the SP.

So I work in the customer service industry and I see hundreds of customers a month. I'm used to going out on Jasper or Whyte Ave and having people stop me because they recognize me. I always knew that I may run into an SP at one point or another. It doesn't help that I prefer to see an SP only once. Not sure why. Nonetheless it means I see more SP's as an avid pooner.

So today I walk out to help my next customer. She is absolutely stunning! I introduce myself and her reaction was not what I expected.

"I know you." she says.

"Oh. Have I helped you before?" I ask.

"No, I met you at (Insert Name of MP Here)" she replies.

Now I was shocked at first. It was funny because I had a flood of memories of our encounter from over a year ago. I remembered that we talked about running into SP's and clients in public. What a coincidence!

I regained composure and focused on the task at hand. Then I noticed she was there with her boyfriend. I maintained my professionalism as I would expect from anyone else. I could see she was a little apprehensive at first. It didn't help that I needed to get personal information, something SP's should never let a client know.

I carried on and helped her out just like any other client. We shared a quick conversation when her boyfriend wandered away. I could tell around the end that she had relaxed.

Afterwards I couldn't get her out of my mind. I got home and hopped online to see if she still worked at the same SP. She did! She also works tomorrow morning!! I'm free tomorrow morning!

I've been out of the game the last few months, but I may have to make an exception for her.

Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I forget that Edmonton isn't that big and avid pooners are bound to run into a former SP sooner or later.

I've had SP's suggest that we rendezvous in public and act like we're strangers that just met. It's tempting but I'm not that good an actor and Regina's a small city. I will run into somebody I know pretty much everywhere and someone seeing me conversing with a sexy young lady is bound to get back to my SO.

No, she was extremely descrete. I was surprised when she said it too, then I realized how no one could have understood her even if they did hear her. The name of the the MP makes little sense when taken out of context. If the situation was different and I could have avoided her I would have. I honestly just didn't recognize her until it was too late. I was ok with the way we both handled it.

And several others who work regular jobs but freelance as SPs for varying reasons. Mainly are Single Moms with Deadbeat Dads trying to provide a future for their kids.

I would roll with it if you're comfortable with the potential outcome. Life is short so don't short change your life. However the cardinal rule is definately privacy for not only your sake, but hers as well.

I had one serve me as a waitress at Joey's once. Neither one of us said anything but I know she recognized me. That's got to be one of the funnest lunches I ever had. I had a session with her some time after and mentioned it, but she just played dumb and wouldn't admit to it. I guess she just didn't like mixing the two worlds together, which I totally respect.

This was years ago, so don't go into Joey's wondering if every waitress is an SP.

I've seen several SPs in the gym over the years and once in a while in the mall. Except for perhaps a quick smile, there's never been any acknowledgement otherwise. Never have they said they remember me from "so and so massage". Go see her, it should be extra fun now.

I remember travelling to Lethbridge once and ordering an SP up to the Sandman Inn.

She worked at a Bank and freelanced as an SP.

About 3 months later, I checked into the Hotel and guess who was working at the Front Desk?

Her.

Never said anything but man, I was sure tempted to ask for Room Service.

Saw a few. One was out with a buddy at the gas pump and ran into almost all the gals from Velvet Touch. He knew about the situation though as he is like a brother to me. We shared a few pleasntries and did our own things. Hennesay is quite the dancer though.

Last one was about 2 weeks ago, heading to Mcdonalds on 124 and 118.. Dallas calls me by name (she was leaving work). I was passing by with a coworker.. I really don't care, so tell my coworker goodbye and go chat with her for a few minutes.

I have not really run into other gals from other studios other than the ones I have visited frequently. Possibly I never got around enough when I was hobbying.

Last fall I was at the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival with the S/O. Spotted 2 very sexy ladies, one in a tight, short black dress and heels, the other in skin tight black pants and heels, one blonde and one brunette, both well known SP's.

As soon as I saw them, I knew they were SP's, but it took a bit to put names to both of them. Finally I figured it out and we crossed paths many times during the evening as they were very much checking out the wines and I was checking out the tight outfits and their amazing bodies. Made eye contact with the blonde a few times during the evening while we were all checking out the wines.

Was discrete and never did anything more than smile and make eye contact with them, but I did have a lot of scenarios go through my mind during the evening. Favourite part was when I was standing outside in the lobby and I saw them both come out and go to the bathroom together. I would have loved to walk in there behind them, put an out of order sign on the door and close it behind me.

The last time I ran into a SP I almost literally ran into her. I visit a lot of companies for work. I was walking down the hall in one office and while turning a corner almost walked into someone. We stopped with startled looks on our faces, said hi to each other, and continued on. It was about 30 seconds later I realized I didn't know her from the office but knew her from here.

Around a month ago I was interviewing potential new employees. Around mid day in walks a stunning lady who had all the pre-reqs for the job. I realised who she was right away and from the look on her face she recognised me as well. She did well in the interview(a Tech industry) and was on the list for call back. She never came in for the second interview.
Very sad that she did not as she was actually the best pick for the job. She is still working as an SP but I do not feel right going to see her again as it could get weird.
Thinking of making an appointment just ot offer her a job.

Happened many times. I have a few regular SPs and they all know me by my real name. I ran into them in the malls, in the grocery store and at my work, on several occasions. If they see me they just call out my name and I would just talk to them like my real friends and just have laughs. I don't pretend not see them or to avoid them and they do the same. I feel no awkwardness at all.

I also went to the same school as another one of my favs and she told me her real name so I wouldn't call her by her SP name if I ran into her.

If I may just say my personal thoughts on this. Please they are personal thoughts.

We are all humans. We are not perfect, we do mistakes. Things are situation based. They are also intention based. We are individuals and our preferences are individual. Someone's preferences could be a requirement in others.
What I am trying to say is all what was written is right, true...even those who appear to show a different or opposing opinion or view.
Personally, I try to pick up the signal, like I do with any person. If she smiled of course I will smile back. If she intentionally walks toward me I will too. If she smiles, nods and walks the other way or felt she is trying to ignore recognizing me. Then I will just walk as if we have never met. Still we are different, the rule should be to respect each others privacy, unless there is a different agreement. Again it happened to me and was approached by SP's few times. The times when I was alone, were great. It was like meeting someone you know out of work. However, the times I was with a close girl-friend were a bit embrassing and I could not answer a question who did you know each other. My answers were sometimes I do not remember. Or guesses...
The whole privacy problem arise from our hypocritic society.
I remember the other day when I was dining with a friend with benefits and I started to smile. She asked me what are you smiling about. I just remembered someone's posting about privacy. I imagined what/how it might happen. Then imagined if you were just a girlfriend and not the sure thing. Hell.. I will go with the sure thing anytime (LOL).
Personally, I tell SP's you can approach me, call me, treat me as a friend ... I'm single. I do look at them as friends "with benefits". It is nobody's business. I like my hobby and I do not like society's hypocrisy. But that is only me and my situation.
