Straight normal massage tips

Man.. I’ve been to semi legit lately and only want a massage. I always tip the equivalent of a HE even though I tell them I don’t want it. I suspect the extra 15 min of massage is probably more work than a HJ though… or however long it takes you guys to get off.

I was at Hickory in Waterloo recently and a guy was leaving as I was going in.
He had just finished a 90 minute mmassage with Nancy, who I know works really hard and gives a great massage. I saw him give $10 to the receptionist as a tip for Nancy.
IMHO, that's cheap. I normally give Nancy $40 for an hour massage.
No wonder she seems to like me. LOL

Old No 7 and I used to go to Kelly regularly a few yrs backn and see Daisy and Ailene there most of the times. We always tip them minimum $40- 50 . No surprises they all treat us like a king there. They used to have a very young girl there I couldn't recalll the name but she got pushed out by jealous older lady Judy and eneded up working at Midland and Finch. I followed her a bit but I lost touch after I found E&M.

Sounds like a fair deal for a professional massage! Always good to appreciate the hard work they put into it.

They are doing well getting $40-50 for an hour’s labour. Most of their clients make far less than that.

I always like to reflect on the strategy when you don’t have benefits, like the many self-employed guys out there. I think its best to avoid an RMT in that case. A talented non-registered masseuse is cheaper & frequently better.

Sounds like you had a special connection with her, even if it didn’t quite go where you might have hoped. Some people just have a way of making you feel important, even if there's a line they won’t cross. Did you enjoy the time you spent with her, even without the "happy happy" ending?

I was halfway in love with her. For a short time, we even exchanged text messages.

Think about it. An RMT gives a discount if you don’t have insurance (or it’s run out). Let’s say you asks $90. You tip $10
& she’s happy. A legit masseuse, $40 tip, you may actually pay her more than a trained RMT. Nuts.

I get where you're coming from! Trained professionals, like RMTs, go through years of education and certification, so their skills definitely deserve fair compensation. That said, tipping is always a personal choice, and some people might tip more based on their experience or just generosity. Hopefully, everyone finds a balance that feels right to them!
