I saw their ad on Kijiji and thought I would give the foot massage a try. They just opened up and the attendant said they were still having a few hiccups with their phone. Sounded like they were going to add a cell phone for managing text booking as well. The place is brand new inside with all the accoutrements that a professional massage spa should have; however, when shown into the foot massage room, I was blown away!

In the room were two custom-made fully reclining chairs with a built-in foot baths. The recliners allow for foot massage, but also head and neck. There is a very large television mounted on the wall with HD video feed of soothing scenery and music. It was great to just "zone out" and get into relaxation mode. The foot massage was by a younger apprentice who did a very good job. I think she was still learning as she got instructions from an older lady from time to time. The schooling didn't take away from the overall experience though.

Parking was simple. Easy to find. Receipts are available. They don't bill direct to insurance companies. Fees were as posted on their web site. I am a cupping fan, so will try that next. Overall a very positive experience and I will repeat.

The way the foot lounge area is modelled is base on some great facilities in Asia. There, foot massages are the more economical and mass offered service most people feel important and can obtain. Reflexology is important in Asia since the feet are believed to hold key elements to the rest of the body. By massaging and triggering key acupressure points on your feet, it was hoping healing can also be accomplished. XP, Comfort Oasis, Best Spa are some of the places that have the foot massage lounge setup properly dedicated to handle only foot massages.

How was your foot massage? Did she also include your calves and any herbal additives to your foot bath?
If you were hurting or squirming during the foot massage, it just means you have ailments that need more sessions to heal it and the frequency should be once every two weeks in the beginning.

It was a mixture of hot water and some additive ( i didn't ask). They worked the feet of course but also the full set of calf muscles. I am a big hiker, so I appreciated the thoroughness.

Went here the other day. Nice inside, big 5’ shower very nicely done. Good massage was able to work out the knots. 4 rooms available. Bed I had was the one with the hole in the bed not my favorite types but wasn’t as stuffy as others. Would repeat if in the area for sure.

Texted yesterday evening asking for a massage. Was told to “just walk in”. Stopped in about 10 min later. No one in the parking lot, no shoes at the door.
lady walked to the front ( didn’t ask her name) and said “We busy now! Come back One hour”
I did not come back One hour

I went the other day after work and had a good experience. They have a shower which I partook of since I was coming straight from work. I was booked with Cindy who gave me a nice medium pressure massage. She says she offers back walking but this time I just went with regular massage, I might try the back walking on the next visit.
Overall a good experience and i'll probably repeat with her.

Stopped by and met Cindy. Took her up on the back walking, she is very good at it. Comparable to Nini. Whole massage was very good as she hit all the right spots. Left a happy guy.

Just went to see Cindy and checked out her back walking to compare hers and Ninis. I give the edge to Cindy and after all the awesome she perform a nice and soft relaxing massage. Left happy too!

In the past two weeks, one evening...I saw a slim, 40 plus lady named "Vicky". Excellent English, full body massage skills...including back walking. Genuinely friendly and professional.

STRATHCONA SPA, had multiple massage rooms, including the one dedicated to foot care. Individual bathroom and walk-in shower rooms were at the back. Very finely renovated facility, and I look forward to making this a regular stop. Another great choice on the south side.

How you mean like a regular massage?
When I go to XP, the chairs outside are quite comfy where there is a TV and you get a hot water foot bath. Wendy's foot massages including calves were comparable to what I get in Asia.
The extra services I received in Asia that was not at XP was shoulder massages, ear cleaning, and scalp massages only. From my knees down to feet, reflexology massage was covered at XP.

I was there a few days ago and requested to see her. I’m not sure if they did bake and switch but the lady said her name was Cindy, very slim probably in her late 30 early 40. Massage was good, I had to ask her to tone it down a notch. Back walking was very good. Nothing happened on a flip, I asked very politely and received a polite no.... Upon paying the bill I was firmly asked for a tip... I said that you had your chance....

My last visit was with Cindy. And, when I was greeted at the door by her, I just assumed she was a receptionist.
Why? Because she was a gorgeous young lady with a slim, sexy body.

Needing a shower, she took me to last room at the end. It had a door right into the shower room. And a beautiful shower it was: glass walk-in, two shower heads(one attaches to a hose).

After the shower, I still expected someone else to return...but back Cindy came. The next surprises: excellent english, and great massage skills. And yes, she does know how to do the back walk. But, her hands are pretty good on their own: for firm kneading. She uses her elbows to get out knots...and effectively.

In terms of personality: she reminded me of two ladies, some of you guys described.
Cindy at Comfort Oasis, for her wandering fingers from behind, and Daisy from Labella's, for her flirtatious nature.

Originally, I pegged her for being in her late twenties....but up close, I would say she is just a really cute, petite, mid thirties lady.



Note: I couldn't help, but notice the medical grade latex gloves. For prostrate massages perhaps? If anyone does actually get one, send me a p.m. I would like to know if one of ladies actually knows how to give one, or the gloves are for some other purpose.

Lastly, She is willing to make you happy, but you will likely have to pay at least Labella rates.
